The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Vulture and Doc Ock Easter egg?

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my post. We get that anyone other than Peter and Alexei could be in their place during the accident/experiment. Our gripe is that the significance of each incident is largely reduced and cheapened to be easily replicated, as I pointed with the mech suit example and the existence of thousands of spiders instead of just that special one.

No, you're being clear. As I keep saying, 616 Rhino can be easily replicated as well. Just do the same bonding process to another thug and you'd have another Rhino. Also, the existence of thousands of spiders means nothing, because Peter is still the only one with the blood to react to them biting him. Anyone else in the Webb-verse would have probably died. But this Peter is special because of what he was injected with as a boy that preconditioned him.

And how do we know that the mech suit will respond to just any wearer? Like Stark made his Iron Man suits to only respond to him in IM3 after Rhodey flew off with one in IM2, Aleskei's Rhino suit could only respond to him and no one else. Both of you are jumping to conclusions without any concrete evidence. Just wait until the movie before griping.

I was really underwhelmed with how Peter got his powers in ASM1, breaking into a room all alone with such a ridiculously large number of spiders in a confined room it is only natural that he would get bitten.

The school experiment origin is so much better and more interesting in so many levels. Nerdy Parker going into another day at school, to attend a special experiment and the fate brings that one spider that bites him. A single spider in a big room. Now that's rare and special.

Well, here it is where it gets even worse. Because Oscorp knew that Peter "was special" and let him purposefully break into the lab to acquire the spider bite. That's why it was so easy to enter and fool everybody. It's all part of the plan And the way that is presented in the movie is so lazy that everyone is like "WTF? I don't buy that he got in there so easily".

To me, it seems like Webb's Aleskei has plenty of personality. Personally, I don't want to see a guy bonded to a Rhino suit running around, so I'm happy with the mech version we got because it's closer to the Ultimate Rhino. Raimi probably would have made the Rhino you guys wanted, since his Spider-Man was basically the 616 version. I've always wanted to see something closer to Ultimate on screen, though. And LOL, I've never thought about them going to the bathroom. Maybe they're able to use the bathroom inside of the suits like Iron Man? But then again I don't think 616 Rhino's suit is high-tech enough to do that.

I get what you're saying about 616 Peter and the bite. But Webb's Peter was still special due to being injected when when he was a kid. In a way, that is his fate in another form that is different from the 616. But yeah, in the 616 it seems like the spider "chose" Peter out of all of the other kids.

Yeah, looks like Ratha knew Peter was following him and purposely made every scientist exit the room so Peter could "sneak" in. I was watching a vid on youtube where this guy was talking about it. No way would Oscorp not know he was breaking in with the level of security they have there. Cameras would have seen him, especially in a restricted area like that.

Peter is a genius, so I'm sure all he had to do was see Ratha enter in the pattern and it was easy for him to keep that pattern in his head. A few seconds later, he was able to enter it. It doesn't seem like a hard thing to do for an enormously gifted guy like Peter.

Just watched the trailer yet again. So cool to see the Doc Ock arms moving on their own...

Just figured out something really cool...

We all know (hence this thread) about the Vulture Winged harness and the Doc Ock arm harness, as shown below:

Then we have these pics of Harry being brought down in some chamber with (at least) 6 bay doors:

So at first I was thinking, hey, if I was going to have these different aparati and things to create a squad of super powered baddies, well hey, this is the kind of place I would hide it...

Since no one else has yet to pick up on this I looked at the two sets of picks and did notice the solid black lines on the ground, which kind of match, but then the lighting on the walls and the spacing between the bay doors didn't...

Well, after that I just about gave up on this silly notion of mine, especially with the rumors of the shot being from a mid credits scene...

But a little while ago I was watching the trailer yet again and this time I noticed a frame at 1 minute and 22 seconds where the first room (the one Harry is in) opens into an outer room (the one with the Vulture wings, Doc Ock harness and some guy in a fedora walking).

In fact, I now believe that that first shot of what looks like as elevator is Harry watching the fedora guy come down (in the elevator) into the room. Fedora guy would then open the bay doors revealing all of the (at least) 6 things before taking his stroll past Ock's arms and Vulture's wings.

This is right when we hear Harry say "what is all this" and the fedora guy (who is likely (but not definitely) the "man in the shadows" from the end credits scene of Amazing 1) respond "the future"...

If we can figure out who is saying (in a very noticeable - is that German - accept, I must say) "the future", well we'll definitely answer a lot of our questions. We'll know who the mastermind (at least working for Norman) behind everything is. Listening again I think it's possible that it's Norman, but I'm not yet 100%. And my German comment probably told most of you that I think it could be Otto...

I think it's a very safe bet that one of those rooms has a Goblin Glider, and maybe some chemicals to tranform Harry, which will lead to:

No one else has put these two events together. Many have speculated that the Dok Ock arms and the Vulture Wings are from an mid-credits scene after Amazing Spiderman 2. Well, sure seems that that is not correct since we know Harry will be turned into the Goblin and it looks like he does this with the help of Fedora Guy in Chamber 6.

Also, we have Harry saying "We literally can change the world", right after being shown this stuff and then him talking with dear old Dad, who seems bedridden, asking "what about Peter?". Looking at both pics, shown below:

It all looks to be at about the same point in the movie...

That would actually mean that fedora guy is not Norman, unless he mustered enougn strength to take his little stroll through Sinister Six-ville and then collapsed back into bed. That's a bit unlikely, making me think that fedora guy is someone else...

Am wondering what the (at least) other 3 things we will see are?

Let's speculate, since obviously these 6 bays have something (everything) to do with the Sinister 6 (something I surmised a long time ago)...

#1: Doc Ock - We see the harness
#2: Vulture - We see the wings
#3: Harry Goblin/Hobgoblin - Pretty obvious that the glider (and stuff) will be in one of the bays
#4: Venom Symbiote?
#5: Mysterio's Fishbowl outfit?
#6: Scorpion's suit?
#7: Chameleon's Belt?
#8: ?????

It's tough. Obviously each bay would need something physically iconic to show who it will be. The harness and wings meet this requirement, as would some black, sentient goo or the Goblin Glider. Besides the others I mentioned above, what villains use/need a physical item?

I asked someone who saw the film if your inside info was right. It wasn't
