The currently untitled project, penned by writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Power & Glory, Spy Hunter) is billed as an all-ages fantasy movie with franchise potential. It reportedly centers on a cynical guy from New York who is forced to go to a land untouched by modern civilization to save a village and a princess from fiendish fairy tale creatures. THR says that the studio is putting the project on the fast track.

Hmm... sounds to me like it could be a possible Evil Dead 4...

Sony's President of Production Matt Tolmach tells EW that the studio is cautiously optimistic about retaining the team that launched the Spidey franchise so spectacularly: "Listen, we're making Spider-Man 4. Our hope, dream and intention is to do it with Sam. But I don't have a crystal ball

Basically saying were going to make Spider-Man 4 and we want to do it with Raimi, but if he doesnt were still gonna do it.
