Sequels Take This With a HUGE Grain of Salt...

just a thought... maybe if everyone is expecting Lizard and Sony wants to suprise us... what then?

The few tiny hairs on my ass laugh at this stupid rumour.

The first Morlun story and the whole Ezekiel arc WERE VERY GOOD. In fact that entire sequence (JMS's whole run with JRjr) would be classic, if he had not made the terrible The Other. Which sullies this idea even more.

But I mean c'mon. Right now I really would like to see Lizard mixed with Kraven's Last Hunt. That could be a great movie. And tie in well with Pete/MJ.

After that...I don't know. After 4, MJ and Peter and going to reach a stability that will make more movies harder and then villains will just become the focus which I don't want. If we ARE going to take any ideas from recent Spidey stories, I say GG's return and masterminding of much of Parker's woe (responsible for the movie symbiote? Pushing Harry with "hallucinations?" who knows).

But Morlun? REALLY? No.

Peter David was also to blame for The Other. I think JMS's big mistake was Sins Past. :oldrazz:

Totally agree

After seeing how big a spectacle Spiderman 3 is going to be it's hard to vision how anything could top it, especially after 3 huge villains like Harry, Sandman and Venom, I'm finding it difficult to picture Lizard and someone like Kraven trumping it.

My opinion on this would be to finish this run at the trilogy and reboot the franchise with a new director/casts vision.

Would Sam Raimi have this guy be the villain? I thought he wants the original villains?

Well, unless Avi Arad makes Raimi use this dude in number 4.
