I have a question about Kitty. Don't people actually die if she phases them into an object?

if she phases someone into a wall and leaves them there, they'll die. same thing with her, she can die if she if gets stuck in somethign as well. she can only phase as long as she holds her breath

She barely had a role. I was like: Oh, right. *Kitty* was in it.

i thought the few scenes she had were standout, she def had great presence.

not really, he was in for a short time, he broke out pretty quick. also he is invulnerable, i think that would prevent him from dying when phased into the floor

Well Kitty phases through the space between Atoms of a solid object. So by solidifying herself or someone else while in an object they'd become one with the object. In other words, instant death.

technically youre right, but i think they were relying on the audience not knowing that and accept that is juggs in unstoppable and invulnerable

i must say that kitty was one of the few things that x3 got right. i totally fell in love with her character in this movie. although i was glad that they didn't do that stupid love triangle with rouge, it was really played up much more than i thought and thank god it didn't happen.

i was really happy that kitty reminded bobby that he has rogue. she seemed to push away his advances, i liked that. hopefully with see kitty and peter in the future

I will say this as my only post on this thread: Kitty Pryde was bar none the best part of the entire movie. Even though her and Beast could not save it, she had more character than anyone else combined and did a fine job.

Kitty had a great role in the movie but I have a question about her 'fight' with Juggernaught:

Given that she phases him through the floor, and then unphases him shouldn't he found himself with the floor going through him and not just stuck in it. I am asking how his midriff and the floor can occupy the same space at the same time

Yeah, they do die. Same goes for Kitty, she can't stay in walls for too long a period, only as long as she can hold her breath.

IMO the Juggernaut scene could be vaild. I mean the dude is basically indestructable, the ground probably solified around him.

Emma did a GREAT job playing Kitty. Kitty is so freaking cool! Nuf said, for now.

Kitty can breathe while phasing but just not while she is in side of an object if she breaths then; she would die. But she could walk around phasing for as long as she wants.

She doesent really do it that often. Its not soo much like flying but more like total maneuverability in the air.

Juggernaut is invulnerable. The theory is his invulnerable atoms cannot be merged with the floor, and thus push the floor atoms away.

Everyone I went with thought she was great. One of my friends said "When I saw them all lined up I was thinking that Kitty would be a bit useless, but she was awesome."

I think she could have had a few more things to do in the battle before going after Leech, but her scene with Juggernaut was one of the best of the film.

No this happened in the cartoon too.She phased him into the ground but his invulnerability prevented him from merging molecules.
