Hmm... How'd I let this one slip away. I'm not going to see the movie. The man has openly professed that he wants to undermine christianity. That's his goal, his life, not my business. But I don't need to fund him. I live in a highly christian area, and I have told several people who had shocked reactions. I don't intend to boycott the theatre, but to... I don't know.
You know, I wouldn't give a ****, I'd still see the flick, if he were just atheist or agnostic. But to try to actively undermine christianity... I can't support that.
What's sad is I was looking forward to seeing the movie before I heard that news. I had read the book and never really grasped that it was so anti-religion (sue me, I want escapism not commentary)
It really is shocking isn't it? That a man would devote his life goal to undermine Christianity. This is horrible and sick.
