Thanks for the info! Is the liquid plumr a type of acid? It looks like draino. Hmm.., well I'm excited to see this. I hope that it will work well. If it doesn't shear thin though, How do you propose that we make it liquid?

Add more water, liquid Plumr, or after a while the spackling becomes liquid, add more of that.

Yeah, cyanoacrylate comes in too small a batch. I'd like to ask you more questions, but you've been through alot. If your formula is as powerful as you say, We have some serious reason to celebrate.

Ye gods, I've done it.
I was messing around, and I do believe I have what we need.
I mixed some nail hole filler (spackling) and cyanocrylate. It dried quickly, and was very fragile. I mixed then Cyanocrylate, spackling, spirit gum, and water. Very strong, but not elastic enough.
Finally, I mixed spackling, Cyanocrylate, spirit gum, soap, denatured alcohol, a little soap, and some Liquid Plumr. I was able to stretch this to over 20 times it's original length. I made a big bowl of it, then pulled out a strip of it and stuck it to a wall. My 200 pound brother grabbed onto it, leaned back, and leaned back almost to the ground. It didn't break.
There is no telling what this stuff could do after being put through a spinneret.

Wow this is awesome. You should see how much weight your fluid can really support. 200 pounds is good by itself though. Also silicone, you think this may either incrrease the strength of the webbing or maybe make it more elastic?

So, I'm still trying to think this through. So how did your brother test this?

was it:

A.) He pulled it, fell back, and within a few seconds he hit the ground. It was stretched, but not broken?

OR

B.) He pulled it, fell over like a minute, didn't hit the ground, and it stopped stretching.

We stretched it to its point of breaking, and measure that. We then took the same proportions of it and measured just under the point of breaking, and we attached it to a wall on one end. He then held the other end and leaned. It did not break, though from his side to the floor was like 30 degrees.

Since it was mixed in with the rest, it wasn't exactly dry. Imagine the consistency of the misfire like the consistency of jello, only a little more thick.

once we can get the formula accurate, then I'll narrow in on that functional formula. For right now, I am afraid that this formula is too solid to fire out. If it is as strong as you say, I think that it will be a great spring board.

For now I'm going to experiment with my cyanoacrylate formulas. While I have not gotten the strength down I found another interesting property when mixing the cyanoacrylate with dryer lint (20% cotton 80% Polyester). It didn't react, even though it was cellulose. I touched it.., and then it reacted. I think that's a weird but possibly good property.

You fire the formula, and then it reacts with a surface it hits in seconds. Not bad at all.

There is a chance of that. It really depends on the material the valve is made of.
