Infinity War Well...I Was Born Yesterday - The Vision Thread!

Yup!
Spot on!

After I watched AoU I was worried about how they would handle the whole situation. Everyone always talks about wanting to have a main character killed off..
Few years later, he says that line in Civil War, I felt MUCH better about the whole thing.

I never understand the hate for Vision. I think he is great in the movies.

I don't think anyone hates Vision so much as they realize something terrible happening to him is kind of inevitable.

Plus he's a robot so if they ever do want to bring him back for real, they can just have him be rebuilt/rebooted.

Yup. That's the twist. We thought Thanos was evil all this time but he was the only one to spot Vision's pain and remove the cause..

Well that was nice of him! I heard those types of stones were very painful!
Good Guy Thanos

True, I've read in other areas a few people saying they were not liking Vision so that's why they couldn't wait till it was violently removed,
and others just excited to see it ripped out in general.

So your right, some could just be excited to get to that point to see the outcome.
Some Reddit posts, other forums, etc. are all more negative about him than here though. I just never like dealing with a lot of negative people so thats why I asked over here :)

Dr Thanos, who flies around in his ambulance helicopter.

I will be sorely disappointed if there isn't a Thanoscopter reference.

All this just reminds me how people want Cap to be killed just because it's happened in the comics.:csad: I really can't get this logic.

Thanos charged across the galaxy performing vital operations for those in need. What a guy!

The Thanos Copter is like the equivalent of Medair. The Black Order are all humanitarian aid relief workers and volunteers.

People are going to be so confused and possibly upset when they go in thinking Thanos is a villain :o

They could make a weekly TV series about Thanos and the Black Order and their medical exploits across the globe. It could be a cross between ER, Chicago Fire and Baywatch (jumping out of helicopters into the water to rescue people).

So rather than speculation of who might die we can speculate on who Thanos might save in Infinity War. He'll give Vision's stone a touch up with Mr Sheen but after that the real work starts. Will it be a cat stuck up a tree or an old lady who's dropped her groceries in Wal-Mart?

Thanos could be like Superman. There could be a whole sequence/ montage like in Superman the movie where we could see Thanos saving all these different people and zooming across the globe and the galaxy in his Thanos copter.

Then at the end of the movie, he could wink at the camera as he flies off to another destination, because a hero's work is never done.

Wanda and Vision romance?
http://www.geekgirlauthority.com/spe...-infinity-war/

Watching both videos, they both appear to be in the same location in of Old Town, Edinburgh in Scotland. So, here’s what we’re thinking. Well, maybe more hoping than thinking — Scarlet Witch and The Vision are sort of in a romantic entanglement of some sort. Think about it. In Captain America: Civil War, we saw Vision and Scarlet Witch on two opposing sides of the conflict. As it turns out, Scarlet Witch is now on a fugitive on the run. Vision, in the mean time, is seen to be on the right side of the law here.
We’ve already seen that he has feelings for her as he was trying so hard to please her with food from her home in Sokovia. Our speculation here is that Vision has tracked down Ms. Maximoff to Edinburgh (or whatever location they say in the film) to see that she is okay and maybe, just maybe, assure her that if she turns herself in or turns on Captain Rogers, she could come back to the States with him.
And that’s when they’re attacked by Corvus Glaive. Well, maybe not Corvus Glaive, but we totally think it’s Corvus Glaive based on that weapon and the way he moves in the shots.
Again, this is all just speculation, but — c’mon, you know you want to see it go down this way.

Any romantic encounter might just be a passing phase. :o

Well, I am that person who loves Vision so much. And Vision/SW thing. So, usually any news about IW makes me nervous.

Plus he's a robot so if they ever do want to bring him back for real, they can just have him be rebuilt/rebooted.

He is not a robot.
But, yes, Marvel can bring him back if it is needed.

I still feel like Vision/Wanda thing is a little weird. Like... he has no actual human body, so what is Wanda's sexuality then? He is not even a fully male because apparently he can modify his own body as he wants. So he has no definite sex.

If Ben Grimm in Fant4stic had no thing, then it's not going to be a problem for Vision here.

No more romance!! I don't want this movie wasting time with romances, or doing everything around romance between these two characters.

It's been confirmed in Civil War Artbook, that they are going in the direction of Wanda/Vision romance.

Wanda is moving away from humanity. It's a mark of how far removed from humans she is becoming. She and Vision are higher beings.

Wanda may well herself be part demon if she has Chaos Magic.

Christ, has anyone seen some of the set videos of Vision and Scarlet Witch's encounter with the Black Order? There's one particular vid where you can hear Vision screaming in agony (I guess he's come full circle on human emotion). This is gonna hurt. :csad:

After GOTG 2 I think we can safely assume Vision is taking Warlock's role.
