The other day someone was talking about a "behind the scenes" picture of I don't even remember but they were calling it BTS. "that BTS pic of the movie..."

It was driving me F-ing nuts trying to figure out what a BTS pic was.

I hate acronyms and they should outlaw them!!

It's worse when you see them in a post loaded with text.
And it's annoying when acronyms for movies are used.

I frequently run into several on a tech site which to list all those acroynms would be a dictionary in itself. One I see a lot regarding anything legal is IANA: I Am Not A Lawyer.

At least with BvS and ASM or TASM you can easily get them if you post in their respective sections.
What is RR?
And what on Earth is QBXZ?

ITM, I CCL what Sawyer and his cronies think. IHR!!! :argh:
:woo:
What does any of this mean?

There are exceptions.

TDKR is acceptable. TA for The Avengers... less so. Just put Avengers. You don't even have to do the "The". But TA? ****ing shame on you. :o

The Avengers one really bugs me and has for some time.

**** May Happen
So Much Hate

What does it mean? What DOES it mean?! :cmad:

You are speaking of initialisms, not acronyms. Acronyms are able to be spoken like NATO. Initialisms are a form of abbreviation and cannot be spoken like PBS.

You're thread is inaccurate and therefore should be burned in hellfire. Or, YTIIATSBBIH.

The acronym (sorry, initialism) for Debbie Downer is an easy one to figure out.

Whenever I see an acronym I don't understand I just quote the guy and ask em what it is.
