Agreed. Get one guy or similar guys and stay with them. Some of First Class' music was cheesy though during the action scenes lol.

Yeah, I don't think anyone is fan of the "fanfare" bars used during the climax, which I agree is a little too intrusive and ostentatious, especially considering how the rest of the score up until that point hadn't really been so bombastic.
WTF I'm talking about is cheesy music used during the training sequences and the aerial battle. Stuff like that. Other music is fine 95% of it yes. But every now and then this movie and other action movies put in some sort of ridiculous music that is just wrong. If you have seen Wanted that is a good example. During the training montage scenes that music was crappy. I hate music that is used to reflect inspiration and motivation especially when done incorrectly.
The training sequence did great use of the main theme, not only that, it was the second best use of the Mystique theme. I really don't see what you're going with that (and that part of "Wanted" was one of the best parts of the score), I can see that inspiration is easier to pull off than victorious fanfare (which everyone agrees failed horribly in the Cuba sequence), but the inspirational pump part was done pretty well in this movie (and "Wanted" for what its worth).
Well, we will have to agree to disagree, because I thought it was crap in both films; First Class and Wanted. I just hate montages and motivational music unless it's 80s rock like "Eye of the Tiger."
I will give you this, It would have been better if they used the complete scenes and sort of intertwine them than the montage they used, the editing in the movie had some problems, and its not fair to hold your montages bar so high with "Eye of the Tiger", that works for just about everything.

Yeah...Hey, we've got it under control. No need for namecalling.Alright children. We're not carbon copies of one another, so we shouldn't expect everyone to think exactly like we do. Everyone has their own opinion, and they're entitled to it... as long as they present it in a respectful fashion. Respect is something everyone needs to keep in mind when discussing (not arguing) their opinions.
Chill out.

Oh we're not arguing, at least I and By Your Command aren't.
This. If there had to be one major theme for the X-Men throughout the films, I'd prefer it to be X3's. It was the best part of that film.X-Men: First Class had a great score. But X3 is still the best when it comes to music.
Screw that.5. X-Men (The only piece I like is when Logan saves Rogue at the Statue of Liberty. Otherwise it's pretty weak for a superhero film score.)
Screw that.
It fit perfectly with the movie and that's what's most important.
You don't like this??
I hope that one day they will reuse Mystique's theme from X1. I thought it fit her character perfectly
Speaking of Mystique's theme, I've been searching the First Class soundtrack for the moment in the film when she goes "au naturale" for the first time, where we hear the Mystique theme stated in it's full-string glory for the only time, and I can't find it. Logically, it should be in the track "To Beast or Not To Beast," but I just watched the movie again yesterday with that track in mind, and it's definitely not the same. It sounds like that track goes straight from the last Hank/Raven scene to the scene where Hank gives himself the serum. Did Jackman move it to another non-chronological track in the score that I keep missing, or was it just left out?
Mystique's theme is beautiful - I can't believe he'd leave the most prominent statement of it in the whole film off of the album.
