Popularity doesn't always mean everything, though. I won IT Girl last year and didn't get any birthday thread.

Just something buzzing in my brain. I mean, I've been here a few years, have over 3000 posts, etc... yet every year I've had to create my own birthday thread (with one exception, DX) .

I mean, I got the b-day e-mail, but no thread. I'm not complaining, it's a serious question.

I just wanted to echo what Drak said...the birthday threads that I make are usually because I consider that person a good friend on the Hype.
