The Nintendo Wii? What do you all think? From what you've all seen and heard, do you think it's going to be good?

What do you think of the controller? Do you think it's going to be awesome and help make games more easy to play, or is it going to be annoying and make it more difficult to play?

How about the games Nintendo's got for the Wii? Does anyone here think that they have a good line up, or does it look to be mediocre or do they not have enough games, Mature games in particular?

PS3 - Camels, Whiskey, Steak, Rough Sex

Wii - Benson and Hedges Ultra Deluxe Menthol Light 100's in a box, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Tofu, Holding Hands

Nothing has made me say "I must play this game", so far.

I'm very excited for Wii. I think that it is time that a major competitor in the video game frey try something new. Nintendo is reaping the success of this strategy with the DS, and I expect them to meet the same with the Wii.

I think it's like a family dinner that you can always eat.

Hideo Kojima aside, I think it's a bad attempt for Nintendo to try to diversify themselves from an industry they can no longer compete in.

Damn, i have never seen it put better. I agree 100%

I think the Wii looks fantastic and it's a step in a new direction that everyone will be copying next generation. The Wii will surprise a lot of people, fans and naysayers alike.

It sure beats the alternative. PS3 is shaping up to be a joke of a system, and Xbox 360 hasn't done anything for me. It's more of the same. I think the only true "next-gen" system out right now is the DS.

I think its a good idea but it seems like it will annoying after awhile

the controller is a modified light gun... and it's going to get very old, very fast. there are only so many different ways you can wave a stick at your screen before it stops being 'innovative' and there are only a handful of NES games that are worth playing today.

I think it will start making parents worry when their children keep saying that they are going in to their rooms to play with their Wii.

Parent: But Johnny, you'll go blind!

how is it a modified light gun? you make this claims with nothing to even back it up.

No its not. Only one component of the Wiimote (the surface pointer) is IR based. The rest is all pure 3D magic.

Why exactly do you think that they can no longer compete in the industry?

Because that's why the preach innovation and try to distance themselves from their competition.
