What If's You'd like to read

I am really interested in reading this ^.

Interesting way to eliminate the temporal paradox killing his family's killers would have on the story. I purposefully avoided having Frank go after supervillains and core Marvel characters like Kingpin so as not to damage the continuity of the other Marvel stories. Of course if this is happening in an alternate Marvel Universe (like in The Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe) then I suppose it doesn't really matter. But I like the thought of him killing Hitler before the outbreak of WWII. And how about killing Binladin before 9/11? But what if he kills Dr. Doom before he becomes a supervillain (and incidentally before he can build the time machine)? Would the time machine then cease to exist even if it is outside of time?

Thats why I had Frank not go after Dr. Doom. because he already thought of that. But maybe he goes after Doom after he has invented the time machine.
The story is a what if so he can mess in other characters pasts without any problems.
If he saved lives and stopped bad guys,
Maybe Marvel wouldn't have many super heroes, and everything would seem peaceful.
But we don't actually see the fruits of his labor really.

Good point. Most "What If's" take place in alternate worlds or alternate time lines, so the deaths of major characters like Dr. Doom and Magneto have very little bearing on the Marvel Universe at large. Thus Frank could go back and kill the Kinkgpin when he was just some punkass muscle trying to make his bones in The Syndicate. Or kill The Scorpion before he ever gains his powers. Some people he can kill before they ever take their first life, like John Wayne Gasey or Ted Bundy. Others he can wait for them where their first known victim was found, like Jack The Ripper or The Zodiac. It would be very difficult to kill Dr. Doom after he had gained his powers though (he did manage it in Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe however). Maybe he goes back in time to the very day the time machine is successfully completed, kills Dr. Doom, then sets a bomb in Doom's laboritory, and escapes in the time machine that was just built, destroying the one he had arrived in and all of Dr. Doom's blue prints and notes so that no one else can build another one (if he escaped in the one he arrived in and destroyed the one from the past then the one he arrived in would cease to exist and all the changes he'd made to history would revert to normal).

What If, X-Men More like a plausible "What If"
Powers Evolved
In the FF comics Sue Storm used to only be able to turn invisible. Later they added to her powers that she could turn others invisible, create invisible objects, or turn invisible herself, but only one of these at a time. Even later still I think the strength of her powers grew too.
Or in X-Men they revealed that Angel not only has angel like wings, but also has healing blood.
What If the X-Men powers evolved appropriately along these lines?
How would you expect them to grow? What new powers would they have, or how would they change?
Here are some of my ideas:

Rogue- She would now have the power to not only absorb other's powers and minds, but to transfer them as well. She would be able to absorb Kitty Pryde's powers and transfer them into Logan's body. Or take Cyclops' powers and give them to Storm, take Storm's powers and add them to Ice Man's.
Of coarse this power would only be for a limited time, depending on the use. The person might loose the powers faster if they use them too much, burn out of them. No matter how much use the transferred powers wouldn't last permanently. Meanwhile the other mutant would be without those powers. She can also, maybe then again maybe not, transfer minds. Allowing non-telepath's to see another person or mutant's thoughts. This too wouldn't be permanent.
Sadly she still cannot control her powers enough to touch a person without gloves.

Kitty Pryde- She would not only be able to turn herself intangible, but to make an indeterminate number of others around her intangible as well, for an indeterminate amount of time. She doesn't have to be touching them, but they must be in her vicinity.

Nightcrawler- He can now teleport anyone or anything, not just himself, and he doesn't even have to go with them. He can teleport Cyclops from one end of the X-Mansion to the other, he can teleport a gun from in a warehouse to Wolverine in bar. The only thing is, like his pervious power to teleport, he must now where he, the object, or the other person, will end up. He could end up teleporting Charles into a solid block of metal by accident. He must also know where the other person is. He can't just teleport Jean into the X-Mansion without knowing where she is. Even if he knows exactly where she is, the address and even the room she is in, unless he is right there to see her it is guess work. This power to teleport others works best when he is in the room teleporting them, or it, out of there to another place.
So usually he teleports someone away from him to a place he knows, like the X-Mansaion.
Another draw back is that the range he can teleport someone is a short as his range to teleport himself. He cannot teleport himself from New York to Paris, and he cannot teleport others or a object from New York to Paris either.

These are the only ones I had thought of, but I have other ideas. But they are just off the top of my head at the moment.

Like Colossus being able to cover others with organic metal, or maybe turn their skin into organic metal, by touching them. This power would only last for a short time, and only as long as he is touching them.

Quicksilver could maybe have his powers grow to the point that he can sort of control speed. Like the speed of others around him, making them faster or slower. But that is just a thought.

What if Doomsday found his way to Earth in the Marvel Universe? Here's how I see it being written...

1) When Superman sends Doomsday so far into the future that the Universe collapses, the collapsing of the universe opens a rift in the space time continuum and sends Doomsday into the Marvel Universe. He crashes on Earth and the U.S. government (thinking it's just a meteor) sends a team of scientists with a military escort. When they find the "meteor", Doomsday kills them all but not before they transmit a video image of the alien.

2) General Ross, believing Doomsday to be a Gamma Mutation, sends a team of Hulk Busters to intersept Doomsday. Doomsday destroys them all with little if any effort. Mastermold intersepted the military transmission and, believing Doomsday to be a mutant who's gone mad, sends a batch of sentinals to destroy Doomsday. They also meet with utter disaster.

3) S.H.I.E.L.D. sends in thier big guns, The Avengers, to stop Doomsday (who is now making his steady way towards New York City). Hawkeye, Giant Man, Wasp, Black Widow, and Iron Fist are killed in action. Captain America and Iron Man are critically injured and are out of the fight. She-Hulk, Thor, and Power Man are taking a beating but keep coming back for more.

3) The Fantastic Four arrive to lend assistance. Reed finds his strech powers are of little help against Doomsday and takes quite a pounding. Johnny hits Doomsday with so much heat he collapses from exhaustion without having had much effect. The only thing keeping them from being killed is Sue with her forcefield. Ben pounds Doomsday with everything he's got, only to be pounded back.

4) Doctor Doom arrives and offers Doomsday an aliance. Doomsday responds by crushing Doom's skull. Magneto arrives with Sabretooth, The Blob, Mystique, and Pyro and makes a similar offer. Doomsday snaps Magneto's neck. Horrified, Mystique assumes the form of Juggernaught and hits Doomsday with everything she's got. Doomsday puts his fist through her chest. Sabretooth and The Blob attack simultaniously, only to be sent flying. Pyro hits Doomsday with as much fire as he can muster. Doomsday breaks him in half.

5) She-Hulk, Thor, Power Man, The Thing, Sabretooth, and The Blob all team up to try to take down Doomsday. Doomsday fights his way through and is heading straight towards Charles Xavier's School For The Gifted. The Human Torch, who's recovered enough to "flame on", flies ahead and warns The X-Men. All the children, as well as any X-Man who's mutant ability is no match for Doomsday, evacuates the school. Wolverine, Cyclopse, Jean Grey, Collossus, Rogue, Jubilee, and Gambit all stay behind. Doomsday fights through them too. Rogue tries draining Doomsday's life force and ends up looking like a smaller female version of Doomsday. Collossus and Wolverine get pummeled, but keep fighting. Jubilee is killed. Cyclopse is badly injured, and only Jean Grey's telekinesis is keeping Doomsday from killing him. Gambit, however, lost focus when he saw what happened to Rogue and it cost him his life. Even with the added help of the remaining members of The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and The Brotherhood, The X-Men are unable to stop Doomsday.

6) The Insidius Six (Doctor Octopus, Shocker, Rhino, The Scorpion, Sandman, and Electro) stand between Doomsday and Downtown Manhatten. They were hired by The Kingpin to stop Doomsday, for there's no profit to be made in a dead city. They hit Doomsday with everything they've got. Sandman, Rhino, and Scorpion fare best. Doomsday rips Doc Oc's mechanical arms off, killing him. He walks right through Electro's lightning bolts and Shocker's electromagnetic blasts. He tears them both apart.

7) Spiderman finds himself an unlikely ally in Bullseye as the two agree to join forces to stop Doomsday. Bullseye was also hired by The Kingpin to stop Doomsday from destroying New York, and gave him the most advanced antiarmour weaponry money can buy. Spidey just wants to stop this monster's murderous rampage. So they agree to team up. Spiderman engages Doomsday in fisticuffs, and during the fight attaches a web fluid reload cannister in between Doomsday's shoulderblades. Bullseye shoots it, exposing the web fluid to the air and causing it to explode, encasing Doomsday in a coccoon of extra strong webbing. The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, The Brotherhood, and The X-Men all show up and start congradultating Spidey. At this point, Doomsday breaks free and the fight is back on.

8) Just as things are looking thier bleakest, along comes Bruce Banner, who was released by the military specifically to stop this particular menace. He activates a device on his wrist, which gives him an electric jolt strong enough to trigger a metamorphasis. He turns into The Hulk and business is about to pick up.

9) Things aren't looking good for the heroes of the Marvel Universe. Hulk, The Thing, She-Hulk, Power Man, The Blob, Wolverine, Colossus, Spiderman, Sabretooth, Rhino, Sandman, Scorpion, Thor, Deadpool, all are giving their all to try to stop Doomsday. Doomsday seems just too tough for them to stop. Then The Sentry arrives to help out.

Between The Hulk, The Sentry, Spiderman, The X-Men, The Fantastic Four, The Avengers, and The Brotherhood, the superheroes (and even the supervillains) of the Marvel Universe finally manage to kill Doomsday... again.

Dayum this crazy but I like it! I would read it:up:

HAHA that would be an insane event. I think Sentry and Hulk could take Doomsday though, but the collateral damage would be tremendous.

That'd be awesome. I wish Marvel & DC could do something where'd they trade super villains for a special event. Maybe DC would get Galactus.

What if Ghost Rider was involved in the Skrull Secret Invasion story?

Answer:
He'd locate all the Skrulls with the Penance stare, the invasion would have been over in one comic.

:hehe:

Not sure where it from but here it it

anyways,

What if J. Jonah Jameson had not only liked Spider-Man but officially came out in support of Spider-Man, and did an Editorial on what a hero he is in every Daily Bugle?

What If Reed Richards had taken the final shot that killed the Skrull Queen?
What if Hank Pym, who's reputation was ruined by the Skrulls, took the final shot?
(What if someone who was made to look like a traitor, like Pym or Spider-Woman, took the final shot?)

I'd thought about that, Spidey would probably have had 616 support to match his popularity in our world. Might even have unmasked earlier. with the exception of mutants, no superhuman has ever had such specific and deliberate public animosity generated toward them. Which might account for why out of all Marvel heroes, Peter is one of the few who still clung to his mask leading up to the civil war.

Also, Pym and Jessica Drew were still in the skrull ship when the Skrull Queen was shot. They couldn't have taken the shot. But if Tony or as you suggested Reed had, that might be an interesting turn of fate. If Fury had done it he would have put things back the way they were before Civil War and gone back to running SHIELD (Nick always knew how much power was too much, he would not have accepted a super-human army).

Nice thoughts, also, what I meant was What If Hank Pym or Jessica Drew had escaped and saved the day by firing the shot seen around the world that killed the Skrull Queen.
Because they had already had their reputations destroyed by the Skrulls, how would they have effected things by saving the day?
Would people still think the war wasn't over, would they trust them again, would they still be seen as traitors? Stuff like that.
I should have mentioned their escape.

How about this:
What if the Skrulls had killed whoever they captured and imitated?
So Electra, Pym, Spider-Woman, Invisible Woman, all dead..
How would that have effected Marvel?

What If Spider-Man became a Villain?
Early Spider-Man Comics were always talking about or showing that Peter was walking the line between becoming a villain or not. They would do things like have Peter say that one of these days he will use his powers to show them all. Or JJ would say in his paper that Spider-Man was a bad guy, and the towns people would assume it was true since it was in the New Paper, and do things like Boo Spidey. Stuff like that. I think it was meant to make the reader think that Peter Parker, always picked on, no friends, to pressured in everything, could one day snap and become a bad guy.
So,
What If Peter Parker, one day, just snapped? What if J. Jonah, Jameson, Flash Thompson, Doc Ock, the whole city of New York, and everyone pushed Peter too far? What if he had enough and went after everyone?

Same thing can be said for Ben Grimm the "Ever Lovin Blue Eyed" Thing.
What If The Fantastic Four's Thing went on a Rampage?
Early FF Comics would always pose that question. Ben would constantly explode in anger, destroy things. One time some guy in New York said something about him and Ben destroyed his car. Another time Ben got angry and began destroying things around the FF's home.
Reed and the others have even talked about the possible day that Ben went off the deep end and became a rampaging monster, like Godzilla.
And that they may even have to take him down.
So,
What if that happened? What if the Thing became a Rampaging Monster?
It is a What if that takes place in the early days of the FF. Ben is still full of anger, hate, rage, sadness, self loathing, pitty, and all these bad feelings over being turned into a monster.
Despite saving the day time after time all the people of New York see is a monster. Even his own team, Johnny, have made remarks.
One day Ben has just had it.
I see it maybe happening during, or even right after, a fight with Dr. Doom (who constantly put Ben down for being ugly and stupid).
Maybe his rampage is a direct result of never meeting Alica Masters, the Puppet Master's step daughter.
[BLACKOUT]Which could be a result of the Puppet Master not becoming a bad guy.[/BLACKOUT]

Spider-Man: On the Otherside
Peter looked at the paper with rage boiling in side of him. Here he was, once more broke, battered (having just saved the city again), his Aunt in need of medicine, himself in need of food and rent, and the Paper said it again. Fine, if they wanted a villain, they'd get one. It was easy at first. He swung into the bank. bind the guards. get the bag of money, and make his escape before the cops showed up. No super-hero would be responding, that was his gig. The few banks that were smart enough to put in an ink pack or to mark their bills didn't count on Peter's spider-sense and intelligence.
He soon became a one man crime wave. Then, the Avengers started showing up. and he stopped getting away with the money. They didn't understand of course. How could they. He needed the money. He never took too much. The bank was insured so he wasn't hurting people. He just wanted to keep his Aunt Comfortable and himself afloat until he could make it honestly. but they couldn't even let him do that. So he decided if the Avengers were going to gang up on him, maybe he should try fighting back similarly. And thus came the Outlaws.
A criminal organization based on one major principal: If the world takes from you, take back. Peter lead a team of Shocker, Sandman, Scorpion, Rhino, and the Black Cat. Their only rule was that they did not rob individuals. Museams, banks, and other public institutions that were insured for their money were hit hard. They also hit organized crime, raiding money launderers, and mob banks. If Peter and Herman deteremined they had made too much in a heist, they actually gave it to charity.
They exist to this very day, a modern "Robin Hood and his Merry Men".

This Monster, This Man
indignity compounded on indignity, rage enough to blot out the sun. that was all Benjamin Grimm could feel one day as he tore through town. His rampage ended, tragically on Yancy Street. Perhaps it's location was appropriate, however Thor's actions were not. The Fantastic Four had tried to stop him, but he over stretched Reed, ignored sue, and in his anger couldn't feel Johnny's fire. In the end it was the Mighty Thor who ended the Thing's rampage of destruction. Not knowing the Thing's true nature and thinking him nothing but a beast, Thor crushed Ben's head. In agony over his action Thor sought to leave the mortal world but was denied by his father. So instead he chose as his penance, to take Ben's place on the Fantastic Four, leaving Mjolnir at the Baxter Building, feeling unworthy to wield it.

That's from Marvel vs Dc.
Mr. Mxyzptlk vs Impossible Man as part of Superman vs Silver Surfer.

I had thought that The Hood was supposed to be the everyman criminal the way Spidey is the everyman hero. So what if Peter Parker was a criminal? He'd be The Hood, except science and fisticuffs instead of magic and guns.

I'd really like to see something with the Iron Spider character that was in the last two episodes of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon.

Do you mean the Armored Spider-Man grey and white costume? The one that was essentially Tony Stark?

Yeah, that guy. He was married to Gwen Stacy. I always thought it was a really cool idea.

What If Thor was treated with respect by the writers?
On a Serious note
What If Doomsday had been a Marvel Character?Who would Make the Sacrifice?(Probally Thor)

What if Civil War was written intelligently???

The Young Avengers(not the New Warriors) cause the destruction of Stamford. Sensing the backlash Cap assembles every hero in the US and they become a united front. Cap goes to Washington with his proposal of what should happen. Every hero is now an Avenger with him as acting director answerable only to the president and a board of leaders consisting of Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Professor Xavier and Dr. Strange.
