So out of: --- Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam Brody as Flash, Common as Green Lantern, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Teresa Palmer as Talia Al Ghul, Zoe Kasan as Iris Allen, and Jay Baruchel as the villain of the piece, Maxwell Lord ---

Are there any actors in there you would like brought back for a potential role, and which one(s)?

Common as Green Lantern should be brought back. That wasn't that bad. It was good.

Fillion, though he's deservidedly fanboy royalty, is a bit old for the part, but I'd say a Fillion type or someone in that wheelhouse, would be the sort that is needed. Someone with an easygoing charisma is a must if you are looking to see that actor go toe to toe with Dwayne as Adam.

Oh, and Hawkman done right is no consulation prize to any actor. The mix of epic scope action and across the ages romance with science fiction and mysticism elements and hard hitting action would make for a grand tale. It would have appeal to both men and women with the inclusion of Hawkwoman and the story of love across thousands of years.

He's only one year older than Dwayne Johnson.

He's not the only potential for the role, but if he starts working out again and trimmed up, he'd be fine.

I'm still trying to figure out the Armie hate from some on here. It's odd to me. Lone Ranger was bad, so he should be ridiculed now  The guy has a solid heroic look, good voice, and could easily deliver as a superhero imo.

Hammer for GL.

Nathan Fillion should totally be Hal Jordan. It'd be too ****ing awesome

Yeah like Majik said, he's a year older than Dwayne Johnson and Ben Affleck, and he could bulk up and look fine for a superhero role. Hal Jordan works as an older character. I always thought of Batman, Ollie and Hal as the oldest members of the League.

Hammer for Abercrombie and Fitch model.

Nonono, that's not a character for him to play. I'm saying he should start modeling for Abercrombie, because he's not coming anywhere near these movies. :o

Nathan Fillion will be Hal when Johnny Deep is Dr Strange, Idris Elba is Green Lantern, Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Fassbender are every white character.

This has Jake G as a possible Shazam candidate. Not too bad and he can definitely tone up and bulk up.

The interesting this about this, is that Shazam and Black Adam will most likely team up....reluctantly to fight a bigger threat instead of being total adversaries.

I like that idea. My favorites are still Joe Mang or Armie. Jake G would be interesting though.

And I stand by it. None of you would know who he was if not for the failed JL movie, and over time soon you guys will forget about him. :o

I think of Social Network and J. Edgar before I think of the JL film. I'm a proud Hammer supporter.

I think Nathan looks too old for Capt. Marvel/Shazam. When I think of the character I think of someone that appears quite a few years younger than 35. Honestly, as youthful and energetic a screen presence as Nate is... he looks his age, no matter how in shape he gets. The Rock as Adam is fine. Though thousands of years old, physically, the character is like a fit guy in his very late 30's to mid 40's. Billy transformed should look like a very boyish man in his early 30's at the most. That's just me.

I really wonder how they are going to do an arc for Black Adam in a SHAZAM film. Will he be the honorable antagonist, or straight up villain that goes through a massive change of heart? I'm not sure how I would feel about a SHAZAM film where the audience's focus and sympathy were more with Adam than Billy/Capt. Marvel.

I, for the life of me, can't understand how Manganiello is preferable to Hammer as Shazam. Manganiello, granted is my first choice for Hawkman, is a very labored actor, in my view. Hammer, though nowhere near a perfect actor himself, has easily got more chops than Joe, IMO. His roles in some of his previous movies have comedic elements of which he had a decent hang of.
Also, Lone Ranger was cringeworthy all through.

Seriously though, WB would have saved us a lot of time if it had acted earlier and signed Channing Tatum when they had the chance.

PS- did I just say that aloud?

Adam Brody, The O.C. nostalgia

People in general seem to be taken with Channing... His appeal is lost on me. That being said... Him as Capt. Marvel would sort of indicate a far too humorous approach to SHAZAM.

Channing was hated not too long ago but I guess the bandwagons are fickle enough that with 21 Jump Street and MM, he is ok again to some. Eh.

Nah, Channing Tatum is perfect for Guy Gardner (GL).
