I love Bond and have watched all of them many times. Goldfinger is great and has the perfect formula. Goldeneye has a great villian, And YOLT has Blofeld who is just the man. But I honestly feel that Casino Royale takes the cake. It feels so different then any of the other movies and brings the Bond of the books to life. It doesn't feel slow like the past movies, but doesn't move so fast that it's ruined (I'm looking at you DAD)

It just brought back all the reasons old Bond was cool (real stunts, good fights, more sneaking and less exploding), and added the twist of giving Bond a better personality and emotion.

Bond is not just a male fantasy. That is what Bond BECAME over the course of his movie life. He is smart and ruthless but still has feelings. He is not just gadgets and quips.

My top five is...

1. Dr. No
2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
3. Casino Royale
4. Goldeneye
5. Goldfinger

The best Bond movie is Goldfinger. It's perfect.

However, the name of the thread is,' your FAVOURITE Bond movie' and mine is For Your Eyes Only.

'Casino Royale' followed by the first Bond movie i ever saw, 'Live and Let die'.
'Living Daylights' is also in my top 5.

1. A View to a Kill. (80's all the way)
2. You Only Live Twice
3. Man With the Golden Gun
4. Live and Let Die
5. Goldeneye

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Casino Royale i think is the best quality of all the films, its also my fave.

Ungodly overrated to the point that I almost wish it didn't exist?

I think it will suffer from the same fanboy overkill in terms of praise that BB.

Both are great films, but everyone makes them out to be these amazing masterpieces. Which they're not.

Answer me this, YAY or NAY to the PTS?

It opens with the most energetic and lively gunbarrel sequence in the series. Bond visits Traci's grave, confronts Blofeld one final time, escapes certain death, kicks a$$ and leaves with Sheena Easton's soothing voice in the background.

I love it! :woot:

Casino Royale, followed by Goldfinger, Goldeneye, Licence to Kill, and From Russia With Love.

Somebody should do a favorite Bond song thread.

...and let the "overrated" wars begin. :o

I'll probably get shot for this, but I loved License To Kill and Goldeneye

This poll would have been even more interesting before Casino Royale 06 was released. I wonder where all those votes would have been redistributed to.

Goldfinger
From Russia With Love
Dr No
Goldeneye
Casino Royale

I need to see the Dalton ones again, and I don't have much exposure to the Roger Moore ones since I don't like him as Bond.

Had you said Living Daylights we may have had some trouble.

You've got a problem with this film? *Rolls up sleeves* Need we step outside?

Is it the less than stellar villains or the rather drab ending? Those are my only two problems with the film.

GoldenEye

I still find Goldeneye to be the most offbeat film in the series. Even moreso than Casino Royale. I wonder if anyone else feels this way. If you were to watch all 21 films in a row, it seems to me that GE is the one film that would seem odd or out of place. On the other hand, I might just be a raving lunatic.

Thats just wrong. :csad:

Why? I liked Thunderball more. What's wrong is Casino Royale kicking the crap out of all the other classic Bond movies.
