What Kinda Wrestling Thread You Runnin' Here? - Part 193

This should be the list provided to every person that's thinking about wanting to work in the WWE someday as a future superstar whenever they visit job-fairs:

IF you want to succeed in the WWE, then here are the best ways:

1. Sleep with the Boss's Daughter
2. Kiss up to the higher bosses
3. Be genetically built like a freaking Terminator

Not essential are in-ring talents, charisma, or hard work.

This is what angers me about Triple H.

He was every bit capable of working his way up to the top organically. He had the look, move arsenal, and promo ability

But rather than putting in the hard work that he was fully capable of putting in, he took the easy and underhanded route.

Sleeping with the bosses daughter (though I don't doubt that his feelings for her are 100% genuine), and using the influence gained from that to bury other guys and to install himself as a top guy unfairly.

He had the talent, but worked for absolutely nothing. And in the end, his legacy as a professional wrestler Sports Entertainer will always be tainted by that fact.

When did Triple H and Stephanie begin dating? I don't think it was at the same time they became an on-screen couple, and Triple H won his first WWF championship in 99.

Let's just look back fondly at the triple threat match:

It's amazing the feeling that one young star got made tonight in Rollins and another potentially got killed in Reigns and you wouldn't think that when looking at the results, but wrestling is a different animal isn't it.

It's not like she couldn't have said no.

Please. This is the woman that had the hots for Macho Man (alledgedly. <___<).

She can't keep it in her pants when it comes to wrestlers. And for some reason, she wanted The Snoz above all others. Though I wouldn't be shocked if he made the first move.

Gotta admit, I did not expect for the ex-SHIELD members to be where they are at now....Rollins beings the main event Heel, Ambrose being the ultimate face jobber, and Reigns being the object of everyone's dissatisfaction

Despite Roman Reigns winning the Rumble, Seth Rollins was the true star of the night.

Worked for absolutely nothing? The dude may be a politician but I don't know about going that far.

I just remembered something. So wasn't there a scenario where Rollins was supposed to cash in and then Ambrose messes it up, leading to the big payoff to their feud? Welp, doesn't look like that's happening anymore.

The page to cancel the Network subscriptions is apparently down. Can't say they don't deserve because, well, they do.

Someone thought it was a good idea to feed Ambrose to Wyatt instead.

Ambrose, who could be the most over guy in the company, lost that feud. He loses every feud. That way, it is clear to the fans that they should cheer Reigns instead.

Yeah, the WWE Network customer services pages are down as well. If this makes it to some news outlet tomorrow, it'll be interesting.

Ugh. I had just about forgotten about that feud. Now I remember the supposed Taker/Wyatt feud that will probably come to fruition tomorrow night.

Remember when Undertaker and Dean Ambrose legitimately had that singles match because Undertaker wanted Ambrose to get the good rub?

Let the sadness sink in.

Underhanded and a prick I'll give you but to say he worked for nothing is just plain wrong. He was being groomed for and made champion before the Stephanie thing even started.

I'd say his feud with Rocky made him and not who he was dating.

His relationship just further cemented is spot that he deservedly earned.

Well, they weren't officially dating until about 2001.

But Haitch was cheating on Chyna with Steph for a long while before it was discovered, and Chyna was out on her tookus.

When was the last time a talent got over organically and the machine got behind them willingly? Last year with Bryan their shows were getting hijacked, they had no choice. In 2011 they resigned Punk who was hotter than anyone in the business in years and despite his lengthy title run they constantly tried to undercut him as the number 1 guy. Cena wasn't ready in 2005, if they would have given another year or so he would have been in a much better position to be top guy. They never let Edge or Jericho truly get a shot at being the top guy. So who was it? I mean damn even Lesnar was hotshot. Was the last really Austin or Rock?

You're jumping the gun. Haitch was a main eventer before he started dating Stephanie. And he was always going pushed. He would've worked a title program with Shawn had the Curtain Call not happened.

He made it to the top on his talent. Now whether he would have stayed there as long as he did without Stephanie is a different question.

yeah I recall HHH was schedule to win the King of the Ring that year of the curtain call but they gave it to Austin instead..
