It sure as hell is to me. What a lovely, crazy mess of a building.

It would really be a shame not to use it.

By the way, I always thought it's a shame Nolan never used Chicago's Water Tower in his Batman films:

Not really, but all that aside, I said that it is "too" modern. I don't mind Gotham having a more modern part of it, but this is too much. For my liking, at least.

I actually absolutely love those GCPD zeppelins.

Which, again, is older and anachronistic aesthetic.

Ever since Batman:TAS i've been waiting for those Zeppelins to appear in a live action Batman film.

I'd love for it to look like Gotham in Arkham Knight. I love how in the main part where there is all these big new high tech looking buildings but it's still under construction and you can go underneath it and see the old gothic looking buildings and dirty streets, for those who have played you'd know this.

Anyway, as much as I'd love to see them, I really doubt we'll get to see the zeppelins in live action Batman again, as they are considered to be dated. Actually, let me rephrase myself... they are dated.

I actually vastly prefer Arkham City Gotham (or part of it) to Arkham Knight one. Modern buildings aside, I don't like those wide streets and all that neon.

I am just trying to be objective. What I want and what we're likely to get are two separate things. Unfortunately.

I'd like GCPD zeppelins pretty much more than anything, but, let me put it this way.. when was a last time you saw a zeppelin in the sky?

I think the wide streets were only there form a technical perspective because of the Batmobile. I personally like the neon lights, to an extent.

I think you're right about that. As for neon lights, I like them here and there, but I find them to be excessive in this game.

I'm going to guess that the fight between the trinity and doomsday takes place in Gotham. And that shot of a the explosion looks like all of the buildings are abandoned. Maybe something happened in Gotham that caused an entire neighborhood to be abandoned.

It looks like an old part of the City where no one has lived there for a very long time. Reminded me of "The Narrows" in Batman Begins.

It was the lack of windows in all of the buildings that made me think the neighborhood is abandoned. The funny thing is that the building that the Doomsday fight was filmed in front of is recently getting a restoration.

In my opinion the modern windows on a very old building doesn't mix well.
