I am still team Cap.
Team Cap. The accords basically make you a villain, if you want to try to help, but the pencil pushers say no.
You mean the scene where Tony was trying to murder a guy for emotional reasons only? The guy who was willing to work with Ross, who clearly doesn't have the best intentions? They had a lead, and Ross just ignored it.Team Captain America before, Team Iron Man after.
Only because I think the movie failed to really get into Cap's reasoning in the end. He believes Bucky is a victim, and not responsible for his actions. Considering WS was brainwashed, it's not an entirely unreasonable argument. But they really framed that final sequence as Cap defending Bucky because they're friends. It didn't exactly shine a good light on him.
Furthermore I would like to add that it was the decision of the government to nuke NYC. I mean.......seriously.......that was the best solution they came up with. LOL
Honestly dont think that was that bad of a decision
To be honest to me i compare The Avengers less to a military group and more like a bunch of atom bombs with brains and consciences. I would not trust a group of countries to be in control of that team. So much has happened since phase 1's end. The world security council attempted to nuke NYC, the vice president tried to have the president killed, hydra was revealed to be within the world security council, the politician world and SHIELD. The Avengers are meant to be the completely selfless ones who go beyond the political crap and red tape thinking. I just don't trust the governments we've seen in the MCU to use them right. It's a big reason i side with Cap. Look at Iron Man 3, without Tony intervening nothing happens because of the government's ego. They wanted no help.
Team Cap all the way. The film, just like the comic, made me hate Tony even more. By the end he was just a whiny baby.
