Id LIKE Electro or Mysterio

but Im positive we're getting Green Goblin. And that's not a bad thing; they combined elements of the Amazing and Ultimate universes to make this Spider-Man and I imagine that's how they'll do Green Goblin. Give him the Ultimate Norman Osborn character type, but then add the 616 Green Goblin for the villain side with a modernized version of his classic look

How are you positive that we are getting green goblin in the sequel? or do u mean you are positive that we will eventually see the green goblin again? Because Rhys Ifans confirmed that the man at the end credit scene was NOT norman osbourne

as they denied Miranda Tate was Thalia Algoul? (sorry i don´t know how to write it but you get my point)

Dude, chill. Its my thoughts on it all

Where's the choice for Sam Raimi??

Actually I'd like to see them setup the King Pin with Norman and maybe a few others.

Show SM as unknowingly messing up King Pin's business so King Pin goes to Osborn because he's in debt to King Pin for something and then have Norman fund Hobgoblin to go after Spidey, spidey wins King Pin takes it out on Norman. Norman comes back as Green Goblin. SM uncover's the existence of a criminal King Pin.

Save the real Spider-man King Pin interaction for the 3rd film.

Question I have though is can Sony get him because he was in Dare Devil?

Rhys Ifans didn't "confirm" anything. We don't know if he is telling the truth, or if that interview was even real. Unless we get that conversation on video, I won't believe it was 100% true. And even if he really did say anything about it not being Norman, he could be throwing audiences off.

I still say that the man in the shadows is indeed NORMAN.

Words are words. This is a good point, but it's tough to say, there is evidence leading towards multiple characters. Which is probably intentional, they probably even picked the villain yet.

I think he was basically just asking you for a source, meaning, was it your opinion, or did you hear it somewhere from a source? Seemed pretty chilled to me

It seems like the video game for this franchise wants to make all of the villains into genetic mutants like Scorpion, Jackal, Lizard, etc. I would alright with this too for the Green Goblin, Rhino, Vulture etc. I wouldn't mind having Vulture in the sequel because he never had been used before and could be a replacement for the Green Goblin in many ways.

I don't think all of the villains will be genetic mutants though. The cross-species genetics was a theme for this movie, and it was expanded upon in the game. From now on we will probably get non mutated villains. The cross species genetics got the ball rolling on creating Spider-Man, and starting the formula that will eventually become the Goblin formula.

If they're doing Green Goblin, it's impossible to make him a genetics based villain. Why? Because goblins don't exist and therefore do not have DNA and genetics

maybe it turns him like a Green scaly with pointy ears but with superhuman strenght, agility and smarter , and the effects come from a formula that he has to keep taking

Yes, there are no Goblins out there to give a human its DNA. But an altered Lizard formula could be used to make Norman transform into a monster like we see in Ultimate Spider-Man.

or the formula works to cure him but with it´s side effects:
-Madness
-Scaly skin
-Stronger
-Faster
-yellow eyes

You just described what Conners became when he took the Lizard serum

make him human looking and pointy ears more in my favor :woot:

I'd just like him to be played out with Norman as Dr. Jekyl and Goblin as Mr. Hyde

I don't like the idea that guy had of Venom being an anti-hero. You'd be skipping to Anti Venom, which I think is a stupid and horrendous idea.

And 8 movies? Doubt it'll be good enough to last for 5

If we look at it logically, Emma Stone is on for three and killing her off would definitely bring the appropriate amount of box office revenue. But then that leaves Peter alone. Meaning that five is quite probable and more likely the minimum. Meaning if Venom is seriously being considered we're talking 6 films minimum. Assuming they continue doing them in a way that's entertaining and crowd pleasing, I'd say 8 is not too far-fetched.

Soon the reboot shock will wear off and the sequel will probably be the biggest film of that respective summer (just look at the competition). Then the third film with Spidey's nemesis and the inevitable tear-jerker that follows. I'd say theres a good chance this series has some serious longevity. Can't wait to see.

For Green Goblin, I want him to look more like he did in the comics with the purple robe like clothing and mask.... No metal suit... Dont get me wrong I loved the way he looked in Spider-Man, but this time around I'd like to see the comic book version of the character come to life.

Huh? Killing characters makes the movie more successful at the box office?

But then the audience will go to the movie already knowing that the character will die? Won't this ruin things?

If I knew Rachel was gonna die, I wouldn't have felt the same thing when I watched TDK, and I don't think people went to watch it again because of that, but because the movie was good.

Only issue I have is the way their names sound and rhyme together. Electro and Mysterio. Next, you'll be telling me that they're teaming up with Oreo.
