What villains would you like to see?

I would certainly rather see that interesting Kingpin (more or less) ripoff than seeing what we had again.

Really. I think he could work what with everyones overuse of social media & technology. I know he is a little similiar to Zod in some ways, being an alien threat, but I'd like him.

I like the ideas of multiple villains. I don't think Superman has EVER had multiple villains outside of Zod's crew, but they kinda count as one in a way. Having Parasite & Metallo as minor villains & Braniac as major could REALLY work to give Superman a real challenge.

If they decide to go for an Earth based villain, I think Parasite would be the best choice. Metallo's okay but I've always found him boring, more or less. Parasite doesn't get enough of an actual chance to shine. And I want to see him brought to live action properly.

I've always loved Metallo but more I think we've seen him on TV loads of times so I think he'd be out as far as the films are concerned (at least for a while) but I do feel like the Parasite would be a better fit now both visually and as a character.

I'd really love to see Brainiac as a villain, but I view him as a global/world sized threat and thus the question would be raised as to why the rest of the Justice League aren't involved also when he shows up.

Cyborg Superman would be my second choice. His transformation from Hank Henshaw into said character could be set off by the events of Justice League and the (expected) arrival of other alien threats which that movie will bring. They could easily stick closely to the comic origin with Henshaw being an astronaut on a mission, but he is sent off course by the events in JL.

Given Supergirl has seemingly killed off Metallo I'm wondering if he's been lined up for a DCEU appearance, given when they've killed off characters in the last and they've made the transition I'd say it's a safe bet we'll be seeing him. Hopefully as a villain in the next Superman or even as a member of the Suicide Squad in the sequel.

I disagree. I think they should kept it simple. I think Metallo should been first villain. I think Lex should been one to create Metallo and set him loose on Superman.

I think the first film should been establishing the characters and setting up both Superman and Clark Kent establishing himself as a reporter.

I would save Brainiac for a later film.

Metallo, Parasite(closer to the season one of STAS version), and Livewire as metas/superpowered beings in intergang led by Morgan Edge

Lex and Bizarro( The Smallville version mixed with the evil Superman from Superman 3) in part two

For me, Parasite or Metallo can't hold a movie on themselves. As henchmen OK but not as Alpha vilain.
That being said, In Amazing Spider-man, they had the Lizard as main bad guy and I'd never had bet on it. Yet it worked. So I suppose the same could be applied to Parasite or Metallo.

Anyway, my vote goes to Brainiac without a doubt. Although I can easily imagine a story with the Eradicator. Or Eradicator mixed with Cyborg Superman or mixed with a Bizarro, since they are taking liberties with the original concepts.

That's why you need Lex with them IMO.

Yeah, which is why I see them more as henchmen types or working for someone like Morgan Edge or Lex Luthor. That way they can be kick butt villains without having to rely on them to drive the narrative.
