Thanks Doc, I guess it might have been the amount of stuff they were putting out at that time didn't leave an opening for a second season I guess.

I watched the Green Hornet yesterday, this was a feature cut assembled in 1990, so it didn't have the upgraded picture quality but it was 1 hour 40 minutes in length, so might it have been the full 2 serials just spliced together? I also watched a feature edit of the old Dick Tracy serial, it was essentially 3 separate cases cut together, each with a different villain, including the hilarious Heels Beals! :D

Me and my Uncle started the Rifleman last night, all 5 seasons are currently on Prime.
I haven't seen a 1hr40min cut for Green Hornet. i'll have to look for it. FYI, the first Green Hornet serial (1940) was 4hr 18min long and the sequel The Green Hornet Strikes Again was 4hr 53 min long.

There were 2 Dick Tracy serials and I think at least one was cut into a feature. There were also around 4 DT movies of a little more than an hour each where he took on different criminals, and then there was a one season TV series of half hour episodes. I could be wrong but it sounds like you saw where someone cut together three of the TV episodes. I've never seen a cut like that over here, but I know that America and England don't always get the same thing in stores.

Ah, I'm guessing what I saw was just a set of episodes covering one storyline within one of the serials, this one was about Green Hornet trying to uncover a protection racket.

I think you're right Doc, this seemed like 3 individual episodes just put together, it was actually called the Lost episodes.

Not a patch on the Denzel Washington adaption, but it does feature Joe Pesci with a full head of voluminous hair.

Decent TV movie that keeps it's premise and runtime tight.

An underrated gem! It's a shame there was never a sequel.

Well acted thriller based on disturbing real life events, the ordinariness of monsters is chilling.

This was a pretty solid little comedy. I don't think I even saw a single trailer for this so alot of the jokes got me and both Keke Palmer and Sza have great chemistry throughout. This honestly felt like something I would have watched back in the day on cable which was really refreshing IMO.
