Not as good as the previous animated Witcher film which I thought was great, but I still enjoyed it for the most part for the solid animation and the really solid battle/action scenes and its still a lot better than the awful recent live action stuff we have been getting from this franchise IMO.
6.5/10
A pretty interesting little psychological/body horror film. It's dark and you really don't have any character's worth rooting for, but the body horror stuff is super effective and really creepy at times.
6/10
Not going to lie I thought this was kind of awesome and I didn't even know it existed until like a week ago, but man Scott Derrickson is really on a role lately between The Black Phone, his segment in V/H/S/85 and now this which should have gotten some kind of limited theatrical release IMO.
Loved the chemistry between Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy and its almost the perfect combination of action, romance and horror with a little political espionage thrown in as well. The only things I didn't really care about was Sigourney Weaver's glorified cameo and the last 10-15 minutes.

My first time watching this all the way through and this is a pretty solid sports drama. Great supporting cast too and it was really interesting seeing Tim Allen in something as dark, dramatic and serious as this.
Also, while she still looks gorgeous IMO my god was Alice Braga incredibly stunning back then.
While I wouldn't call this a good movie I have to admit that I was more entertained by it than I thought I would be. Wahlberg's performance in this is so unhinged and over the top that I couldn't help but laugh whenever he was onscreen not to mention his ridiculous appearance. He was easily the best part of the movie but considering how talented Gibson is as a director I was definitely expecting better than this low grade, bottom of the barrel B movie schlock.
5.5/10
A really solid flick and probably my second favorite film of the year behind The Gorge. I enjoyed this so much more than Barbarian and while the trailers definitely spoiled a bit too much I was not expecting the twists and turns this movie took in the second half and that third act is pretty crazy.
Sophie Thatcher is so great in this and deserves to be a HUGE star IMO and Jack Quaid continues to be great at playing complete scumbags lol. Also, that ending was probably one of the most satisfying endings I've seen in a while.
