KotFM: Great movie, great performances, good story that could have been better if it was shorter and had more of the Osage PoV, particularly in the last third.

Medusa Touch: Very interesting mystery & thriller that builds to a quite the crescendo, it's just dated here and there. Hitchcock and Blatty Exorcist III vibes.

Exorcism Emily Rose: One part courtroom drama, one part horror movie, both are good and one of the better exorcism movies. Seen it a couple of times before.

Return of the Living Dead: It was okay.

Stir of Echoes: It's okay, seen it multiple times before, but I forget how hammy the performances get to the point I'm taken out of the movie.

Friendship Game: It's crap and not very coherent or memorable.

The Thing

First goddamn week of winter.

Just so happens that my place got hit with a super cold front... so this rewatch was perfect timing. I finally got to use my 4K copy to watch this and the transfer looks so good. As always, this movie is a masterpiece and it's still my favorite horror film alongside with The Mist (which I will be seeing tomorrow).

DRACULA UNTOLD (2014) Starring Luke Evans, Dominic Cooper, Sarah Gadon, and Charles Dance. A mixture of history and legend telling how and why Vlad Dracul becomes Dracula. This was set up for a sequel or franchise, but it failed at the box office. I personally liked it (a lot of sword fighting and supernatural action). My wife liked that it wasn't gory and bloody.
