Lucy is kind of hilarious, I was not prepared. Someone coined it the dumbest film of the 2010s, and they might be correct, but I was profoundly entertained. It's miraculous how much gobbledygook they've been able to fit into just 89 minutes.

Really entertaining action comedy, the 3 leads play well off each other, the action is great and the lighthearted humour mostly lands.

More of a psychological horror/thriller than anything but I kind of dug it especially the creepy atmosphere. It was also interesting to see Tom Felton in an early role that wasn't associated with Harry Potter.

It was cool watching this again and while I still really enjoy this film I just don't think it hits the same way that it did the first time I watched it. I do however still stand by Sophie Wilde's performance being pretty fantastic in this and that ending is just something man.

Lawd this was bleak but I have to admit I am really impressed to see this much maturity and growth from these directors in such a short period of time. This movie is dark, brutal and almost entirely humorless which is probably why it didn't do as well as Talk To Me did back in 2022 but I honestly think it's superior to that film in almost every way.

It's incredibly well made and the acting across the board is fantastic especially from Sally Hawkins who easily gives one of her best career performances here.
