I loved the little tie-ins to the previous film.
First one I noticed was Groot not moving when Drax looked at him early in the film lol

Teenage Groot. I knew it was coming and I loved it.
The Ravager Salute was gorgeous.
And Yondus death was emotional and beautifully shot.

The escape from the Ravager ship.
The salute at the end.
Just about everything with Ego.

I loved practically everything, but the some the best scenes to me were Rocket and Yondu held hostage on the Ravager ship. Just some hilarious scenes. "TASERFACE!"

I love the cameo "PacMan" appearance as well as a certain well known 80's actor.

Loved the original Guardians showing up. and the final reveal of [blackout]Adam Warlock's cocoon[/blackout]

I flipped out in the theater during that mid-credits scene. No one else in my theater got it, though.

I loved the Rocket scene in the forrest with the traps and the prison escape scene a lot

The escape from the Ravenger's ship Yondu was showing such skill with that arrow. Man I wish he stuck around to meet Hawkeye in IWs. I think a cool scene could have been made with them talking arrows.

Star Lord blasting Ego after the reveal.

Rocket attacking Ravenger's

Rocket, Groot, and Yondu space jumping and seeing other planets and such.

Yondu taking Quill into space and off of Ego's planet as it explodes.

To be totally honest there are too many great scenes to pick.

However,
Yondu's death (Chris Pratt totally sells it) and the final shot of a tearful Rocket,
really got me. Emotional.

Drax calling Mantis ugly. It got funnier every time.

Kurt Russel was a boss in this movie. The man can still act his ass off.

Ego the planet was beautiful. In fact I loved the eye candy of the entire film.

How Ego the planet was explained and the villian twist was well executed.

The Sovereign's video game air force.

Rocket Raccoon bonding with Yondu.

Yondu going beast mode with his arrow during the escape.

When Star Lord gets pissed about his walkman and his mother and goes HAM on Ego.

Stan Lee's cameos. The Watchers and Stan Lee!

Yondu's sacrifice. I had to fight the tears so hard cause my kids were next to me. Damn you, Marvel!

Every Baby Groot scene was pure gold from the intro, to the escape, to the detonator scene.

I'm Mary Poppins y'all

Rocket and Yondu bonding

Rocket kicking ass in the forest

Everything with Drax and Mantis

Baby Groot.

Peter turning into Pac-Man in the fight with Ego (probably my favorite scene)

The Ravager funeral

Stan Lee with The Watchers

Teenage Groot

I liked the scene where Gamora and Drax are screaming where's Peter, followed by Rocket shooting Gamora saying he already lost one friend.

Best end credits in a super hero movie ever. So cool finally not having black and white scrolling text.

Yondu and Rocket taking out the Ravagers. One of my favorite scenes I've seen in ANY movie.

Gomora and Peter dancing while the sunset.
That was awesome, amazing chemistry. I want more of them.

I also loved Peter and his dad playing catch. Heartwarming. Felt like a shoutout to Field of Dreams. And then Peter and Yondu at the end. So good.

I actually really liked the intro with Groot dancing and the team fighting that big monster in the background. Even though you're supposed to pay attention to Groot, there was actually a lot of cool stuff happening in the background during that fight.

I also really liked the quiet, introspective scene with Drax and Mantis since it was one of the few moments in the film where Drax wasn't used for comic relief.

The opening credits scene with Baby Groot dancing to "Mr. Blue Sky"

Any time Drax laughed (Dave Bautista's got such an infectious laugh, I can't help it)

Rocket vs. the Ravagers in the woods

Yondu, Rocket and Groot's prison escape

The 700 jumps to Ego's planet including Stan Lee with the Watchers

Quill overcoming Ego's grip set to "The Chain"

Yondu's sacrifice

The Ravager funeral ending, which was one of the most beautiful scenes in any Marvel movie to date.

And of course, Teenage Groot

Yondu, Rocket, and Groot prison escape
Yondu's sacrifice
Stan Lee cameo with the watchers
Howard the Duck cameo
Yondu, Rocket, and Groot going to Ego
Teenage Groot
all of Drax and Mantis interactions

lmao I forgot (I don't know how) about the 700 jumps lmao

I also forgot to mention that I loved Baby Groot punching Drax when he broke the stereo and when he called him "smaller, dumber Groot" towards the end.

lmao I forgot (I don't know how) about the 700 jumps lmao

This! So much this! The warped faces were absolutely hysterical but I think my favorite part was after the jumps ended and Baby Groot nonchalantly puked in his lap. I died. :woot:

Just saw it again.

Loved Pratt's delivery on the "Yay family reunion" line. Also Rocket's "You wanna buy some batteries" line.

Lobo mentioned it above, but the Pacman bit in the big final fight was perfect, especially in context. Ego turns into a giant version of himself, because of course he does, what else would Ego do. But Starlord? Wokka wokka wokka!

Runner up: "you know what they say: You're outta luck until you go duck!"

Speaking of the Howard the Duck scene I loved the Red Light District for space pirates.

Though I'm fairly certain the Sovereign wouldn't be caught dead in that place. :funny:
