What we know so far!!!

Really? So they are starting all over? I don't get it....this is very confusing....very confusing indeed.

Not really. They realised the error of their ways hence Gale's comment:

Hurd: We have a Hulk who is not going to be three different sizes in this movie. I think everyone will be very happy about that.

...obviously they have been listening to what the fans have been griping about, and want to do it right..from stratch. I actually respect them for re-booting this franchise so soon. Doing a film/franchise over so soon is un-heard of. Other failed movies should take notes; i'm not getting any younger and i ,like many others, have waited to see a good Hulk movie for decades. I for one will support them for their effort.

Hey Sava, not to strat anything but why do you still have:

*This a sequel like in the James Bond sense, not a direct sequel but not a restart either.

when it was clearly stated:

.....
i forgot to edit that part, thanks for pointing it out

Wait, so if this is a restart then are they going to do his origin all over again? Or is the story going to pick up after the accident?

the origin is going to be shown in flashbacks through out the movie. it will be a totally new origin.

sorry, but I'm very doubtful about that... "Spools out" doesn't mean "Flashback" IMO, it will be just from a few lines, I think.
LL said at the CC that this will be "really for me a mix of the TV show, the comic books, the old and new."
I think the only way is to report all over this things, with some lines, in a "very artful way"(Norton DIXIT :cwink: )!

OMG this is awesome to know they're changing the origins, dont get me wrong i loved Ang Lee's Hulk; i just hate it when sequels have been re-cast, cause then it doesnt feel like a sequel :( any way this is great news especially in the direction their taking the origin, in flash backs :d.

AL's Hulk was OK. But it didnt give you a "true" hulk feeling. Like theo show did.

The tv show pales in comparison to the stories the comics have produced. At least Ang didn't ruin anything. The tv show messed up perception of the Hulk for years. Hell, I heard "Hulk fans" complaining Hulk leaping everywhere was lame. Why the hell would any "Hulk fan" say something so stupid?

It was kinda stupid...

Not a sequel. I really don't understand the perception of all those who can not fathom or digest the realization that this is not a sequel. Hold on.....okay people who can't read english? THIS IS NOT....I REPEAT... NOT A SEQUEL. OMG! A total reboot like BB was to the Batman series. "Holy reboot Batman, this is not a sequel!"

It's just another Hulk story with new talent from top to bottom. It's not like they're going back to the beginning and redoing an origin film. That's where the confusion is in peoples minds. Some people might be thinking "reboot" means starting over with the storyline. Kind of like how when they switch James Bond actors or Jack Ryan. Same with the Punisher movie coming out. This Hulk film obviously takes place later in the life of the character than the first film. However it's not a sequel. Just another story that they're making in attempt to rebuild the franchise around a new cast.

Haha i know its not a sequel im just saying how much i hate sequels/reboots like james bond and superman returns.

It's biggest flaw imo was rehashing the same story we've already seen (Luther trying to take over the world/Kill Supes) over, and over again.

I know Superman doen't have the greatest rogue of villans out there, but damn. Now they're talking about DECREASING the budget in the sequel, and adding two villans to this one, instead of one.

Makes no sense all the way round. :csad:

Hey Sava,

MAybe yo could update when you get a chance, the 1st page.
With the news of NOrton as actor/writer

Then what about when Norton was talking about telling their own version of the history, answering those questions, and spooling it out over the course of the movie?

yep, exactly... I think you'll get the jist of what's transpired without the story being told, like piece things together throughout the movie. I think that's where the Casino Royale comparison came in. It will be like, "Oh, OK, that's why that happened." Sounds like a MUCH more compelling story!!

Well what I took is that he was going to use flashbacks to tell the "origin" and not frontload it in the first act like some comic book movies do. I really do think it is a straight up reboot.
