The Dark Knight What We Know So Far

didn't we see something the other day that said the bat-pod was NOT part of the batmobile? what was that?

Dent sounds better and better

wow. so the Batpod is part of the Batmobile.

I knew it! Awesome!

We also know that rachel gets kidnapped by joker to attract batman. After batman shows up joker nearly ends up killing batman by stabbing him multiple times.

Rly? :wow:

Edit: lol nevermind. Actually my nephew told me something simliar today.

I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, this guy apparently attended a "critic screening"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/board/thread/109520356

but the guy went on to give away some heavy spoilers if it's real.

To summarize...

Dent IS scarred by gasoline.
Rachel does NOT die but "may as well be dead" (?!)
Body bag scene confirmed (even though he says it's just "implied" that Joker has hidden in one...
No carnival/amusement park.
Joker's wherabouts unknown at the end.

what do we think, BS?

The bat pod is a different machine and does not come out of the tumbler. It was asked in an interview and they said it is completely separate. It is in the SHH TDK set visit: "CS/SHH!: Is this like an extension of the Batmobile or is it completely independent?
Crowley: It's completely different component."

Having read his review and comments, I have to say, I can't really make up my mind one way or another. It'd be easy to manufacture a review, but his comments do have the appearance of being correct. We'll find out soon enough, I s'pose.

It's blatantly the guy that posted all those made up Joker quotes, same flowery kind of dialogue

Well I'm ressurecting my theory (after seeing the spoiler below) that the Batpod emerges from the Batmobile. I adopted this theory early on during filming, but as time went on, my hope had diminished.

It's not the Batbike or the Batcycle, it's the Batpod.

Batpod = Escape Pod

Pinch of salt? The last paragraph of the "article" is clearly a joke. Let alone the "JL Initiative" line. No, it's false.

"Heeeeeeeere he iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisss, the biggest *****e in the uuuuuuuuniveeeeeeeeerse..."

I don't believe it. Honestly, I don't believe anything from the IMDB boards. If you notice, the guy dodged any questions that he thinks he wouldn't get away with.

A pm'd him a few questions about stuff I know to be in the film, but he never responded. I call b.s on it.

If HotSauceHustla, the guy who supposedly saw the movie, is FOR REAL.... the only interesting thing to me that was spoilerific was the bit about Rachel. It's interesting because I wonder what the hell it means.
