The Dark Knight What We Know So Far

It wasn't really a review either, basically just "spoilers" and plot points.

Does anyone sometimes think that the WB has released false "spoilers" to throw us off. Maybe some misdirection. To be honest with all the security surrounding the script you would think they probably have a team of guys working round the clock checking out internet sites for spoilers and possibly spreading misinformation all at the same time.

Wouldn't surprise me.

That is so fake

don't you mean

It's definitely a mess of a review, and I don't buy the ending. No, scratch that- I really don't buy the ending.

I don't doubt a lot of that will happen but I doubt that the movie will end like that. I could see Batman taking the blame for Dent's change to Two-Face.

It'd have to have a huge build-up to work as an ending, and Harvey isn't left with the most trusting face at the end of this film regardless of how you look at it. We know for a fact that he kills people. I can't see Bruce overlooking that just because they loved the same woman.

I don't want to start a new thread, (I know how bad people get when one is started without cause), but Hot Toys have recently had their TDK figs on display at a toy show in Japan, and for their Bruce Wayne scuplt they had half of it facing away.

Apparently the show had a call from Warner the day before saying they could not show the right half of Brucie's face!

Does it get damaged? Has this already been covered?

That "review" is very old and very very very fake. It's the same one that was posted on badtaste.it months ago and have been confirmed to be false.

not the one ssx had right?

Well today might be the last time I get on, I am going to try to resist the temptation to keep reading and watching spoilers.

So, I'm gunna "reveal" what I know for fact before I go.

First of all I wasn't involved in the production, but I have talked to several of the actors involved in the film, Chucky Venice (Gambol's bodyguard), Martin Ballantyne (Fat Thug), Jay Fuller (Prisoner), Steven Hansen (Maroni's Henchmen/Prisoner), Stephen Armourae (Kirk Stedden), and one of Anthony Michael Hall's representatives.

-The Joker is behind the barge set up; the prisoners sacrifice themselves and their barge is destroyed.
-Sal Maroni's trial is in the movie, the scene is "chaotic." Five of Maroni's henchmen are present at the trial, their faces are scarred.
-Kirk Stedden is just one of the prisoners
-Heath Ledger's performance is remarkable and he was great to work with
-Nolan is a very talented and amazing director, great to work with

Are you a journalist?

Gah, the solution to the barge scenario...
is the one thing I'm disappointed with, feels like a cop out. May change my mind after seeing it but I would've loved a pitch black result

Don't wanted to open a thread about this but I was wondering if anyone knows why haven't we heard about the video game based in the movie... it's weird that we have not heard about it or worst... it was not developed...

so does anyone know how rachel dies? i'm sure it has something to do with the joker but you know. and harley quinn isnt in this movie right?

Harley Quinn is not in the movie.

Im not sure how Rachel dies, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with the Joker.

From what I hear the way Rachael dies is one of Nolan's big Twists. Do you really want to know.

yes i really want to know.

Joker kidnaps Harv and Rachel and puts them in separate buildings filled with explosives. He gives the address of each building to Bats and he makes him choose. Batman chooses to save Rachel and goes to her building. When he goes, though, he finds Harv; Joker had switched addresses. Harv is saved (but scarred), Rachel dies.

I *think* that Gordon was supposed to go to the other building but got too late, so Harv blames him for Rachel's death, but I'm not sure.

Well this isn't really a spoiler but actually well maybe it is a Follow up on what you said.

Batman phones gordon to save the other. batman choses rachel. he gets there just in time! meanwhile, gordon gets to the other warehouse which explodes (we see this shot in the trailer).

Gotta love that Crafty Joker playing tricks on batman.
