The Dark Knight What We Know So Far

fail.jpg

Did the Joker design that pram? :lmao:

and charge $599.00 for it plus shipping.

Alfred: 'The manor is rebuilt, brick for brick, Master Bruce. The improvements in the south east (west? I can't remember) corner are finished also.'
Bruce (half-smiling): 'Let's go home, Alfred.'
Even that, in one of the final scenes, will do.

Final scene:
Gordon: 'Another gangster family wiped oot last night, Batman. And our forensic team found this at the scene.'
(passes object to Batman)
Batman (holding up coin, turns it to reveal scarred side): 'Harvey. You're still out there.'
Gordon: 'We have to bring him in. He's gone over the edge'
Batman: 'I can still reach him, Jim. I still believe in Harvey Dent.'

Fade to black.
In my dreams, of course.
nice ending! bravo!!!

Gordon: 'There's been a series of jewel robberies....'
Batman: 'Stop right there, Jim. The Joker has killed the Mayor, Commisioner Loeb, Rachel Dawes, blown up a hospital and two barges, and while we now have him locked up, the DA has been scarred and gone nuts, killing all the gangsters around, and is still missing. And with all that going on, you want me to track down a jewel thief? Shove it up your a$$, Jim.'
Gordon:'... I was only asking.'
Batman: 'And you never will again.'

Seriously, though, I feel that Two-Face is obviously going to be the bad guy in part III, so it doesn't have to be a subtle allusion. IMO.
ROFL!!!! THIS WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS, I actually pictured the scene!

Bravo! Great stuff.

Omit the now cinematically dead (:oldrazz:) "Let's go home" line and that's full of win.:yay:

that sounds amazing, I would love for it to end like that!!

:lmao: that would be funny as hell if those were the last lines of the film.

Gordon: 'Oh come on man, he stole my moustache!'
Batman: 'And your family jewels while he was at it.'

nice ending! bravo!!!

Thank you for all the positive feedback, internet down for a few days and I come back to such nice things being said. Yippee!

What I know so far is that I've rarely been that excited for a movie. It brings me back to the days of "empire strikes back", "Temple of Doom" or "T2". TDK looks to be that rare cinematic gem, an intelligent summer blockbuster that might very well also become a true classic of cinema.

I have a question based from the new footage from WhySoSerious.com. Is it confirmed that the National Guard is called to secure the city before the rumored
[blackout]bombs on barges plot?[/blackout]

If this is true, Harvey Two Face might be revealed with ~15-30 minutes remaining in this movie.

Probably so, especially since cast interviews have revealed

that Two-Face kills Maroni and his limo driver, and he has a scene with Gordon at the end.

I hope the Joker is in the third film! If any of Batman's villians should appear in two films it should be the Joker! His arch enemy.

does any one else think a scene where harvey is arguing with "himself" ala gollum from lord of the rings (obviously not as comedic) would be awesome? he could be arguing about killing someone and finally he says "lets flip on it". i think if done correctly it would make a great dark and disturbing scene that really shows how far this hero has fallen in to clutches of schizophrenia.

152 minutes runtime

sweeeeeet

dark joker how can you say that doesn't make sense? maybe i didnt explain it properly but what i meant was the two sides of harveys personality arguing with each other over what to do with a corrupt cop or gang member. maybe harveys remaining good side would be saying "he must be tried in a court that is the only justice" whereas the bad side would show no morals or mercy and want to kill him. then finally when "they" cant agree they flip the coin. i think if it was done properly it would be brilliant.

So everyone knows that the Batmobile is trashed in The Dark Knight and that Batman has to use the Batpod right?

I don't know if this is already known (and forgive me if it is) but.....

The Batpod is actually a part of the Batmobile that emerges from the wreckage in a transformer kind of way

i never heard that i just assumed because it kinda looks like the bat pod would be on the inside of the batmobile on the right or left side explaining the big wheels and i thought that maybe in the film the batmobile would be on fire or about to explode and then pops out the batpod

I'm only going by the production notes I got given for the scene shoot.
Unless they're disinformation! :hehe:

I thought that was proven false
