So with the box office numbers and reviews of the second film leading to the possible(and hopeful) delay of the third film the possibility of Sony learning their lessons might come when news spread. So for the mean time let's type about what we want in the third film:

What I want in the third film can be best expressed with this list:

-Peter actually acting smart and showing his intelligence. In the first film we can see that Peter is adapting more and more of his intelligence as the film goes on. However I have no idea if he was ever smart to begin with because if he was so smart he should've come along to the oscorp field trip while trying to figure out the mystery of his parents. Some people or haters might even say that he only got interested in science because of his father's clues but when you look at his boards there are some scientific and mathatical equations that look like it was written for like 2 years judging by the dirt and scratches. However in 2 he's reduced to a total dumbass when he couldn't figure out what batteries and magnets are and most of the time Gwen helps him out. It's just rather insulting to what makes the character so special to begin with. So for the third film I want him to come up with things on his own and we really need to see him invent stuff like what tony stark did in the first iron man film so that we can feel smart.

-I want there to be some consequences. In the second film there were no consequences for what Peter has caused. Maybe there were a few but at the end there were like none at all so of something bad happened because of something Peter did I want it to happen and I want it to be written well.

-get some new writers. I love what Roberto and Alex has done with the rough cut if the film but for now I really want things to be played safe judging by some of their other films regardless of a couple was messed around with talentless hacks. For starters I'd love if if the writers of breaking bad could handle spidey. I mean they captured so much human emotion from breaking bad I can actually feel what all of the characters went through. So I really want to see what they could do with him.

-I want uncle ben to be important on the film. In the second fm due to Sony's unknown reasoning for cutting out important stuff from the second film uncle ben was not mentioned once. Not even a ghost of him ever appeared. It was even insulting when the death of his girlfriend had a greater impact than the death of his uncle making the character feel like some unfair prick and destroying part of the myth is of the character so for starters I want uncle ben to be part of the third film whenever Peter feels like he's struggling or something worse happens. It's not bad that Gwen would get done attention but family is important too which brings me to number 4.

-I want more of Peter and aunt may. In the two films Peter and may had less interactions with eachother due to sloppy editing from both films. In the comics aunt may was one of the most important things for Peter Parker and was even one ofcthexpeople who helped him out with his life so for starters I want may to be important in the film and the franchise in general.

-I want them to pick the right Mary Jane looks and acting wise. When shailene was castes as MJ in this movie she got alot of harassment with people calling her ugly, she looks like a foot, looks like Channing tatum or whatever and the disgusting editorial from from **************.com. If she was still on film she would've done something worse to herself while people wouldn't care because they are safe from the majority while hiding their fears and regret for what they've done. I'd love for shailene to come back but after the flack she recieved I want them to pick the right actress for Mary Jane looks AND acting wise. By looks wise I want her to be just good looking instead of just a supermodel which removes and relatability and tension so I want someone like Jane levy or Karen gillen to play as MJ.

-like everyone I really think mysterio has the potential to be a great villain. He can use some effects to make something inspired from famous horror movies, science fiction movies, fantasy movies even done stuff created by his own works. It can even be a part of Peter's road to recovery and symbiote story if mysterio knows who he is and tries to mess with his mind by adding illusions of his uncle, connors, harry, girlfriend and his parents and even scare him by by putting an illusion of mysterio killing aunt may. The venom stage can finally hit when mysterio finally reached his nerve point.

-no messing around with the film. In both films thanks to Sony messing with the creator's works the fs didn't receive promising reviews nor were they huge hits at the box office even having their box office numbers seem rather pathetic. So if the want to earn money and keep the writes they shod let the creators handle the own work so they can give us a great spiderman film. Webb has had potential. Lets hope his full work gets revealed in the final film

So what do you want in the third installment?

Oh thanks for reminding me. I also want j Jonah Jameson in the movie and I want him to play a role in Peter's life and I want jk Simmons to reprise his role. If he doesn't then that jerky guy from scrubs can replace him. By that guy from scrubs I meant he would be the only one who'd be in par with jk Simmons. There's like no one else who can top him. He's like RDJ. It's impossible to replace him

Concentration on the villain. Also, no tragic villain cliche... Sick of that in the Spider-Man world.

Yeah, I don't believe a character like mysterio would be the type of guy we can sympathize with. I really don't mind sympathetic villains even bad guys can have some sympathy with what journey they went through but having them over again and over again is really annoying. I also don't want them to be a cliche. Just write them good

One thing I did in what I would do with TASM3 I personally love is I kept the villains tragic but they are still such bastards that you can't feel sorry for.

For example:

Mysterio = He is an actor who is really forgotten. He was once a star but now nobody really remembers him. When he takes on Mysterio and sees all the publicity Mysterio is getting, he is loving it. He keeps doing it for the attention. He has tragedy but because he loves and keeps doing all these evil things, he isn't tragic like some Spidey villains.

Venom (Eddie Brock) = With Eddie, I really wanted him to kind of be an *******. He cheats off Peter in class. At the same time when he's expelled after Peter gets caught, you kind of feel bad for him. He is a janitor at Oscorp (because everything in this Spidey universe has to have something related to Oscorp). He will become Venom and when he does, he attacks the school. I really wanted something modern and I thought about school shootings and having Eddie as more of the Ultimate Venom attack the teacher, dean of student, and lastly Peter. It would be the final battle in the film during the day.

Great idea. Man my ideas isn't what it use to be. I'm kinda jealous.

Say, which directors do you want mysterio to be inspired by when he creates these illusions? For me it'd be perfect if he used inspiration from orsen wells, Steven Spielberg, andy Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, and even Ed wood. I know Ed is terrible but it would be a neat idea to see mysterio take plan 9 from outer space.

- I want Peter to have more social lifer. At the moment it's just Gwen and May, now just May.

- Have Peter at college and introduce sone friends.

- Introduce Betty Brant, Carlie Cooper or MJ as a new love interest but take it slow.

Like for me, I wasn't inspired by directors for Mysterio. I was inspired by films. Orson Wells's War of the Worlds speech playing with maybe an alien invasion, Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Planet of the Apes apes invasion, and to end it maybe have like a twisted carnival like in the Spider-Man 2 video game with the final showdown in a boiler room like Freddy in Nightmare On Elm Street.

Maybe he can also take inspiration from Robert wise's the haunting. Any movies he can take from such classics even someone from modern days he can take and make it work.

Give us a tragic villain...so that we, the audience, are thinking "Golly gosh, how horrible that ________ had to go through tha--WHAT THE **** IS HE DOING?"

Basically leave the audience entirely confused as to how to feel about the villain. Tragic circumstances that blow open the floodgates of whatever violent impulses or psychotic behaviors the villain was previously suppressing.

I want Peter to have no love interest. I want to feel that he is genuinely overcoming the recent events with Gwen. I think it'd be smart to throw a potential love interest, but nothing apparent. Also, probably one of the few things the sequel got right for me was the lesson learned at the end for Peter. To me, it is that there is a lot more going on in the world and bigger things, than just his life, and that to be Spider-Man, he must accept that and not be as selfish, but selfless.

Oh and please no overmarketing. Along with the choppy editing the over marketing ruined the whole movie experience spoiling everything and was also one of the reasons why this movie failed at the box office. So why not make it just a good trailer and leave the important stuff like something invvibg Peter and spider man, aunt may, Mary Jane, and something big and surprising involving the villain and his action including another possible villain in the story. You haven't had good reviews for both movies as well as disappointing box office numbers so I suggest you play it smart and stay faithful to the fans and viewers.

Yep +1

- Decent villains who are not under developed and horribly campy
- Marc Webb off the franchise as director. He just doesn't get Spider-Man
- More focus on Uncle Ben's legacy and less on Peter's boring parents

Agreed about the over-marketing but the movies didn't fail at the box office. It's the third highest of the year. It failed to make much of a profit due to the budget and marketing costs but it grossed well and ended high on the years top grossing. Not a Box Office fail.

Also ASM did have good reviews

Oh sorry, it did make good reviews. It's just that with the exception of the casts people still didn't favor it to the raimi films and other comic book movies. If both films would've been left alone they would've made the avengers look like the league of extrodinary gentlemen.

Okay, since it didn't meet much if their expectations and Sony is stil in trouble needs to stop acting like selfish *****ebags and let the creators do their own stuff because if sony messes around with the third movie they are screwed. No one will see a movie from them again.

The development of all the 'Webb' villains has been underwhelming. Although I appreciate the campiness in a Spidey movie I'd like to see a villain that is and feels threatening.

- Marc Webb off the franchise as director. He just doesn't get Spider-Man

How much of the 'just doesn't get Spider-Man' is from Webb and how much is coming from the writers? The director is of course steering the ship, but he's also confined by the material of the script...not to mention the producers are making changes during principal photography.

- More focus on Uncle Ben's legacy and less on Peter's boring parents

Again,.

Let's hope with the seemingly closed arc/storyline of his parents--he figured out why his father and mother went on the 'run,' that his father was actually attempting to do the right thing, and at the end of the movie he packs all their stuff away in a box; that the movies will turn towards the importance of Uncle Ben and his impact on Peter.

I think Uncle Ben could fit in naturally to the third movie without feeling forced. He'll be a little lost in the next film, might reflect a bit on what Uncle Ben might have done.

I think they can keep Marc Webb, but tell him to not go BIG. Just try to stay grounded, and tell a really good story. Grab a theme, stick with it, make the characters around it. Less dubstep, less CGI, make it feel less commercialised and I think the reviewers will connect with it more.

You are incredibly right. A film and a story in general doesn't have to big. Just make it grounded and well executed as possible. Just make it a standalone story. Just don't make it like the avengers. Just make it a spiderman centric story. Mature him. Make us relate to him. Anything that can make Peter Parker and spiderman work.

Don't add any dub step. don't waste all of the cgi either. Make it have the same style of scenes like you did in the first film and the raimi ones. Make it switch from cgi to practical effects on the spiderman character in scenes that are necessary and would make it work. You had alot of trouble before the release of the first film and was almost there even to the point where they would beaten the avengers, winter soldier, the dark knight, iron man and x-men all critically and financially. Just listen to what the fans say that makes sense and are necessary, alright? Just focus on making your films great. If Sony takes control over you and eve ruined your third film your career would be over. Just think about that alright?

Oh, he should be better written than max. Max in the comics have some issues. In fact you can even call him creepy because he seems to know more about spidey than anyone else with how he moves, fights, and can predict which jokes to make. I just hope mysterio doesn't get messed around with and act and look right. I'd love it of Xander Berkeley reprises his role. Seeing a cast member in the spectacular spiderman actually playing his character again and this time on screen would be a treat.

It's very stale idea, especially in the Spider-Man world.

The Green Goblin: Took a chance at the formula before it was ready to try and save his company. Experiment gone wrong.

Doc Ock: Wants to create a renewable energy source that could change the world for the better. Accident gone wrong.

Harry: Wants to make his father proud. Takes formula to avenge his father. Experiment gone wrong.

Sandman: Needs to steal money to pay for his daughters operation. Just wants her to be healthy again. Falls into testing area running from cops. Accident gone wrong.

Eddie Brock: Lost his job, girlfriend to Peter Parker... Allegedly. Wants to make Peter Parker pay. Bonds with symbiote, becomes psycho.

The Lizard: Wants to regenerate his arm. Experiment gone wrong.

Electro: Working at Oscorp. Accident gone wrong.

Just give me a villain that we don't have to feel sorry for!
