Homecoming What we want in the third movie

It's very stale idea, especially in the Spider-Man world.

The Green Goblin: Took a chance at the formula before it was ready to try and save his company. Experiment gone wrong.

Doc Ock: Wants to create a renewable energy source that could change the world for the better. Accident gone wrong.

Harry: Wants to make his father proud. Takes formula to avenge his father. Experiment gone wrong.

Sandman: Needs to steal money to pay for his daughters operation. Just wants her to be healthy again. Falls into testing area running from cops. Accident gone wrong.

Eddie Brock: Lost his job, girlfriend to Peter Parker... Allegedly. Wants to make Peter Parker pay. Bonds with symbiote, becomes psycho.

The Lizard: Wants to regenerate his arm. Experiment gone wrong.

Electro: Working at Oscorp. Accident gone wrong.

Just give me a villain that we don't have to feel sorry for!

You missed the point. We expect a villain for whom we MUST feel sympathy. Bait us into thinking that's what we're getting, then show the villain to be a complete sadist whose deeds make them seem like subhuman monsters for whom we have no sympathy.

Posting in Spider-knight's thread.

For TASM3 I want Kraven, no crying Peter, more action, less love story, less trailers/tvspots, less budget, spider-tracers, ...

i don't want to see this version of Lizard, Harry, Norman, Electro or Rhino again. i wasn't a fan of the way they handled those characters, so they should move on. I don't think the Sinister Six should use any of those characters.

Kraven, Mysterio, Venom. I'd like to see one of them. Using Dr. Octopus could be cool, but he was already done so well in Spider-Man 2..

So yeah Kraven, Mysterio, or Venom as the villain or villains and introduce Mary Jane and J Jonah Jameson. that's basically what i want

maybe the Sinister Six could be: Dr. Octopus, The Vulture, Mysterio, Kraven, Sandman, Chameleon

I want to find out more about The Gentlemen in the next one. What does he do in this universe!?

Presumably that's what the Sinister Six movie is going to address. The whole Mr. Fiers angle.

I couldn't care less about the gentleman. I hope they go in a completely different direction this Tim. The only previous plot point they should build off is the death of Gwen .

So Roberto orci and Alex kurtzman have confirmed that they are parting ways for the franchise. So, I love what they've done for the rough cut but I would love to see a great writer take in spidey. Who do you want to helm spidey?

Less cgi, the power plant fight was a little hard to watch at times.
Ditch S6 plot
Focus on ONE villain.

A certain young, talented writer/director with close ties to recent CBM projects will be announced in the near future, so be on the look out. :cwink:

Ok then the power plant fight looked amazing and is by far the second best fight in a spider man movie yet behide the train fight in sm2.

Wait...who?

I'm not at liberty to say at the moment. I don't mean to be vague, it's just that it's the only connection I've ever had to the production side of CBM's. I wanna share it, but also don't want to burn the bridge.

He's going to put a new voice on this franchise though. He's a very witty guy.

Okay, i understand. You mentioned that he has ties to recent CBMs. Have those CBMs been successful? I mean quality wise.

All the productions he's been around now have been Marvel-related. BTW, when I say "ties" I don't necessarily only mean he worked on particular films. Could also be a pre-existing relationship he has to other director/writers in CBM's and yes there has been a great degree of success.

I honestly thought he was going to be the next guy to helm a Hulk movie. Even though I'm not a fan of these new Spidey films, I guess this will do.

I can't shake the thought off my head that this is either Edgar Wright or Matthew Vaughn. I truly hope it's one of them, but that's a long shot. Based on what you told me, i can't think of anyone else. Just to be clear, when you say Marvel-related do you mean the studio or the comic world of Marvel in general regardless of the studio that has the movie rights?

Marvel-related as in CBM's based on Marvel Comics.

It's neither of those guys though. He's someone that's been flying under the radar and it was just a matter of time before he landed something like this.

Ha, i know who he is. That's great. So, what, they're going to make Webb go so that he will direct the film? Or he'll just write it?

When do you think this news will be made official?
