I am in the middle of reading The Hobbit, its an amazing book considering how old it is, its definitely is a timeless book.

I remember when the return of the king was coming out i rented the book and after the first few pages i return it, but then again i was a teenager back then, i think am ready to give another try.Are you going to read The Lord of the Rings trilogy next? If so, be prepared. All of the humor and ease of language in The Hobbit ends as soon as that book does.
It's a maddening, rewarding, and utterly draining experience to read them back-to-back-to-back-to-back. But if I can do it, so can you. I have faith.

So I've heard. I politely refuse to go there.Reading The Lord of the Rings strieght through is far less draining than reading The Silmarillion once.![]()
