Casino Royale: 5/5

Skyfall's not out yet in Australia but I wanted to watch Casino again before it's out. Easily my favourite Bond film. Hell, it's probably in my Top 10 films.

Ghostbusters 2
9/10

Like the first movie, the main characters consist of:
An ***hole with a running mouth
One egghead obsessed with his work
One egghead with childish
The common guy in the staff
A lady with nothing interesting about herself
A horny secretary seeking a dork to love
A complete dork
Then there's a villain with plans of total chaos

Story is charming enough to make real good use of the way those characters are written, both movies are highly enjoyable the way they are, and if the game is a proper successor then I'm good without having a third movie
And a reboot is not an option, keep the good thing as it is

The Whisperer in Darkness (2011)

This one would've worked better as a short a la the 2005 Call of Cthulhu these guys made, but I appreciate the enthusiasm.

Looper

Not as great as I was told by many reviewers, but it was still good.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex, But Were Afraid to Ask
Forgot intellectual dialog, this flick is all about poking fun a sex; unfortunately the idea is a little outdated with the times we live in, but it's still worth watching even for Gene Wilders segment.

Hocus Pocus
This hasn't aged well at all - still, a Halloween film every kids should see.

Manhattan
Not as strong as Annie Hall in terms of relationships, even with it's provocative flare. Like Annie Hall, Gordon Willis composes wonderful shots in black and white while the characters push the story forward.

Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises

I still think overall Batman Begins is the best film overall but The Dark Knight is just one of those movies that literally NEVER gets old and I've had to have seen at least 100 times by now

The Living Daylights (1987)

At this point it's not too late for a film with Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan playing cold war era MI6 agents right? That would be boss.

Argo, had a free movie pass that was expiring yesterday and had been wanting to see it but just hadn't had the time. Awesome movie, despite knowing how things played out I was still on the edge of my seat waiting to see how they did it.

The Spy Who Loved Me.

It seemed more like a composition of things from other, better, Bond movies than anything else.

The Five-Year Engagement 8/10

Thought it was excellent.
