A very interesting documentary about various messages, there's no actual story going throughout but it's done on purpose. This is the type of film that Tree of Life wanted to be but failed for the most part. There's beautiful cinematography going into this obviously and once it got near the end and observe the US, South Korea, and Dubai it became the highlight part of the film for me. Other than that, it's is alright, I wish they got Philip Glass to do the soundtrack. 7/10
Killer Joe
A surprisingly dark comedy in which Matthew McConaughey killed it in his role (pun intended) as a police detective who's also a contracted killer. The movie keeps you interested for a while until it really delivers at the end of the film. I gotta say this is the first film I ever got interested in Juno Temple. There's a scene without giving it away that involves a chicken drumstick and it was absolutely astonishing in so many ways. 9/10
This is sort of a generic plot but it has good performances and the bike stunts are incredible. Also got to love Michael Shannon's ridiculous laugh.
The Christmas Shoes 7/10
This is a sentimental made for tv movie, but the performances seem genuine. I thought it was good , but had low expectations. It's not usually something I'd watch.
