FAST FIVE

You really have to sit back and admire the Fast and the Furious film series.
Especially when you look at certain films that are not even worthy of a sequel but
inexplicably got one:Hoodwinked Too Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil or The Whole Ten Yards anyone?
The F&F series remains entertaining, fun, and loud.
Starting where Fast & Furious left off Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) has fully embraced his need for speed and left his days as an FBI agent ,along with his lover Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) they boost Dominic "Dom" Toretto (Vin Diesel) from a prison bus.
The trio take on a heist job to steal only one specific car, the Ford GT40.
Betrayed by the crew they're teamed with,DEA agents die,and they quickly become
the enemies corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida),who sent the crew to work with the trio. This also grabs the attention of a tough, relentless, DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).Dom sees only one way out steal all of Reyes millions.
Director Justin Lin who took the reigns of the series with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift knows his audience and provides the thrill and speed even the subtitles quickly move on and off the screen.
He assembles a good portion of the casts from the previous films Han Lue (Sung Kang), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), Gisele Harabo (Gal Gadot), Tego Leo (Tego Calderón), and Rico Santos (Don Omar) The one liners, humor, good natured
put downs of the crew work like a charm.
Elsa Pataky is a nice addition as a local officer who recognizes there's more to Dom than meets the eye.Sure the acting is a bit stiff and there's a plot hole or two butif you dont smile or cheer the crew on you just dont have a pulse.
Make sure you stick around during the closing credits.I left the theatre saying i cant wait for part 6
Scale of 1-10 an 8½

First time in years I've watched it, still holds up as a classic. I have yet to see the unrated version, but I'll track it down.

Super Troopers

Love the Broken Lizard guys, even Club Dread. But I haven't had the chance to check Slammin' Salmon yet.

It's been a while since I last saw this film but from what I remember from it, it was that the film was straight out gorgeous. The visuals are truly stunning, even breathtaking at some parts.

One of the many reasons why I love this film is the great use of locations, the stepwell in Chand Baori and the blue painted houses in Jodhpur to named a few, was just dazzling to watch. The striking colorful costumes by Eiko Ishioka should be mentioned also, I was absolutely amazed by it.

Overall, The Fall is worth seeing, it is undoubtedly a visual masterpiece.

Yeah, I knew that. I don't think you shouldn't judge the movie by the trailer, just wait until the second trailer comes out to do it. Because I don't really think that the trailer did justice to Singh's vision for the film.
