9/10,I don't actually mind the lack of races But when it's set up then it gets cut to the result or end credits then that bugs me a bit!!,Rest was damn good to me though.

Thor,
Got to give it a 9.5. one hell of a movie

Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business - 3/10

Caught it on one of the Encore channels. Pretty bad, very cheap-looking and quite a dull movie to boot, too.

"Thor" -maybe some spoilers to follow-

My theaters midnight showings were all 3D which was annoying because it made the film too dark in some scenes (especially the awesome opening battle).
I liked this movie a lot. The Avengers references made me groan a little, but they weren't shoved down my throat like the ones in "Iron Man 2"

I'm not sure which I like better of Marvel's movies: "Thor" or "Iron Man" hmmm...I'll have to think about it. Both films definitely had weak villains. For being the God of mischief and an all-out trickster Loki certainly left a lot of loose ends and made it easy for everyone to realize his deceptions. And the whole "You can't kill an entire race!" thing made me shrug. If the film had shown the Ice Giants with an actual culture or some innocent people living their lives in that realm, sure, I would've cared about saving them. But no. The few times we saw the Ice Giant realm it was just a bunch of monster-men sitting around, waiting to be evil. Blast away, Loki. Blast away.

Gotta say, after seeing Thor fight the Ice Giants and the big armor-suit-laser-guy...I don't know who the Avengers could be fighting that would require more than Thor to handle. I mean, why even assemble a team to fight a badguy in the Avengers when you could just ask Thor to bring his other God-friends.

Those critiques aside, I really enjoyed this movie. Heck of a lot of fun.

Watched Thor in 3D. It was too short...the 3D glasses ruined the fight scenes and made a lot of the movie's colors washed out and dim. Don't watch it in 3D!

Couldn't agree more. My theater had all midnight showings in 3D. The battle with the ice giants was way too dark and I had trouble making out what was going on.

9/10!

This, IMO, is easily one of the greatest superhero films ever made and is right under the Spider-Man trilogy, IMO. When watching this, I felt like lightning was caught in abottle.

Hawkeye' cameo wa brilliant, Stan's cameo was funny as hell (Seeing JMS rocked) and I'll be honest, this film really seems to ahve showed people that Marvel truly is (IMO) the best superhero company. The action was fantastic and the performances really had heart.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hidelston had great performances overall. Thor really was spot on, IMO in terms of performance. I love who CHris could play an arrogant chracter, then by the end of the film be responsible and understanding. Loki was just brilliant. I loved the voultion of his character in the film. Anthony Hopkins, as no surprise, was fantastic as Odin.

Btw, the after credits scene was fantastic as well. You'll be surprised.

Overall, the film was incredible and I honestly can't wait until the Avengers!

Ah, I see Thor finally landed in America! I agree with some of you who say that it's the best Marvel film so far.

Had to wash the bad taste of that remake out of my mouth.

Thor 7/10

Honestly surprised with all the positive buzz. It was just decent.

I have to agree with this, I've been rethinking my initial view of the movie. Parts of it felt rushed and lots of characters were underdeveloped.
