:wow:

I can see why though. I loved it myself, but it's not for everyone.

I liked it when it had a cohesive narrative. But at times it just felt like a nature documentary spliced in an actual movie.

Not a fan of the creation of the Earth stuff? That was literally jaw dropping.

It was but like what nite-owl said, it's also something you can see in a nature documentary. When the storyline kicked in it was pretty good.

3/5

Would have given it a 2.5, but the extra .5 is for Zoe Saldana being in the film.

MST3K: The Beast of Yucca Flats
One of their best episodes. I cannot recall laughing so hard as I did during the "Progress Island short film."

Nah, it didn't click with me unfortunately. It comes to no surprise that it's rushed and some of the new stuff that they put in was not good, especially the ending. The best thing about the movie is definitely Cranston as Gordon, he did a wonderful job but I can't say the same thing for McKenzie.

I like that they went with someone who is not Conroy but his lack of experience in voice acting showed when he delivered lines in such a monotonous way that it rubbed me the wrong way. The style of the series is not translated well to movie and it looked like a typical animated movie from DC Comics and loses part of that made the comics unique but ultimately the film is alright and enjoyable for the moment.

3/5

Straw Dogs (2011)

While I haven't seen the original film (and I really need to go and find it after watching this), this is a really well made thriller. This plays on the fear of southern hospitality and how it's every man for himself and you are f***** if you don't man up. I thought generally the performances was good, James Marsden proved he can be versatile in his acting.
8.5/10
