Hadn't seen a single trailer so I had no preconceived notions going in and really enjoyed it. There's a lot of heart and interesting observations within some humorous moments.

Emma Stone is magnetic but Ryan Gosling steals the show as the slick playa who really just wants a nice girl to love, the scene where he first takes Stone to his swank pad and they spend all night just hanging out is easily the best of the movie. 8/10
