lol i dont even remember his real name. or his twin sister ?

Gwen's unconcious, thrown off the bridge, Spider-Man shoots out a webline and we hear the snap, but Spider-Man doesn't know what's happened yet. He thinks she's okay until he actually goes down to her body.

I think the general audience might be annoyed to see another Goblin fight on a bridge like in 2002. A Goblin trilogy is too repetitive for me even though it'll be five years since the last telling by the times this film opens. A trilogy about the Lizard or Venom makes more sense to me now.

The general audience might be annoyed to see the origin again, but they're still doing it.

If they're going to do the whole death of Gwen Stacy story, it should be with the Green Goblin.

Goblin is the Joker of Spider-Man. If you're "annoyed" with seeing the Green Goblin at any point in time, you shouldn't be seeing the movie. Goblin is a HUGE driving in force in forming Spider-Man into the hero we know and love. He should be a villain in every single incarnation of Spider-Man from now until the end of time. No questions asked.

I'm not picky on whether or not it's the Goblin, personally. I think the biggest detail is that they should emphasize that Gwen's death might have actually been Spidey's fault, because of the way he caught her. Maybe instead of her leg, he snags her upper back, to make it look like she might have had her neck snapped by the webline. Or hell, a simple slow-mo X-ray shot when the web catches her and a cracking sound would be enough. Then Spidey realizes what he did, and starts beating the unholy crap out of whoever kidnapped her out of pure, pure rage.

I'm surprised how many people are flexible on who's there when Gwen dies. I guess Carnage being Uncle Ben's killer is okay too, as long as y'know... Uncle Ben dies. O_o

To me I think it would seem really disrespectful to have Gwen die then have Peter move onto MJ in the next movie. It would seem like he pretty much gets over her as soon as he sees a smoking hot redhead. Although if they wanted to do it that way I'd say have it be a few years after her death and Peter is still mourning her.

Then he is reluctant to enter another relationship, but he's just so taken by MJ or something. But ideally I'd like MJ to be in the 2nd one. I think it's kinda cool the idea of him having a choice, but then having Gwen taken from him. Then MJ comforts him a bit then it isn't till the 3rd one that any kind of relationship happens.

Have MJ in the sequel (so that she's there in Peter's life before Gwen dies) maybe have her be Gwen's friend like in TSSM?

When Gwen dies, have Peter and MJ get closer and closer.

I'd prefer Gwen to die at the end/middle of the sequel, then move forward a few years so they can introduce MJ. Peter is still reluctant, but eventually they get together.

Does Peter reveal to Gwen that he is Spider-Man before she dies?

Green Goblin is Spider-Man's archenemy. A Spider-Man series without Green Goblin is just as abhorrent as a Batman series without Joker.

The Goblin is a must, if you ask me.

Agreed.

This.

Well, that's why I suggested many pages ago, to have the Goblin kill Gwen stealthy, for those who remember the concept I suggested. It would be less predictable, in more suspense, mystery, and drama...imo.

Does Peter reveal to Gwen that he is Spider-Man before she dies?
Nope. Captain Stacy tells Spider-Man before he dies that he kows he's Peter Parker and to take care of Gwen. However, Gwen didn't find out.

I think, ethically, it could be argued that should have told her. Something rubs me the wrong way about Peter keeping that secret from her, and therefore depriving her of the choice to accept the risks of being Peter's girlfriend or not.
