So it's ok to jump on him as a racist because he said some ignorant comments, out of contexts, in private. But it's not ok to say he might not be when a close friend says he isn't? Ok. Nobody else see's how ridiculous that logic is?

Here's the thing, I'm not defending Hulk Hogan, but people say a lot of crap. Sometimes people say stuff when they get mad they don't really mean, but in frustration it comes out cause they know it hurts. A person shouldn't be faulted for something they said 8 years ago. If your life was gone through with a fine tooth comb how many things could you be in trouble for saying or doing in your past? People blow this stuff up. People need to take a chill pill, people do make mistakes and we do need to forgive them, especially if they are deeply sorry. I mean it's not common for me but I hear stories all the time of loved ones who say stuff when they are mad and hurt you to your core cause they know how, but regret it later. Things just come out and hopefully we can learn a lesson from it in the future. I don't think he should be fired.

Plus doesn't WWE regularly embrace Ultimate Warrior and make money off his image and he pretty showed us with his own will he was a racist bigot?

Look at the owner for the NBA's Cavillars team, His team mostly consists of black males and was long time friends with black men like Charles Barkley but turns out he was always secretly an angry racist.

You may not want to touch on it but Hogan himself admitted to being racist and so yeah maybe he was angry or whatever but still admitted to it twice! Of course people will jump on him after what he said and admitted.

You may not have heard of other wrestlers claiming he is but others have said they did and so it doesn't mean nobody ever said anything in the past

I know about pretty much every backstage story related to wrestling, never heard of anybody calling Hogan a racist. I've heard Ole Anderson and Flair are though.

just because you work or have friendships with someone of another race doesn't automatically not racist.

Strom Thurmond had black friends and even had a daughter with a black woman, but it's inarguable that he was racist.

Bill Watts booked Ron Simmons to be the first Black wcw champ and made other black men champions in various territories, but he clearly showed in that Pw torch interview that he was racist.

I don't think Taker is racist, but having a diverse group of friends doesn't make someone incapable of racism. Just like how having a gay friend doesn't mean a person can't be a homophobe.

People often compartmentalize individuals from groups to hold certain ideas.

Hell the guy who murdered those people in Charleston had a black friend and he was CLEARLY racist.

I never said don't call Hogan out I said we don't know what the context was in when he said it, if he was being racist about it fine then **** him. I said not everybody who says racist slurs in their private life is a racist despite what others say.

I have used racist slurs messing around with my black/asian/hispanic friends and they do the same to me, guess we are all racists.

How is it out of context? It clearly wasn't in private. It wasn't recorded in secret.
