When the Wrestling Thread Got the Answers, HE Changed the Questions

Sadly, I'm not even surprised that some feel the need to defend Hogan over this.

I'll add that in the audio, he also admits to being racist to a certain extent.

He shouldn't be excused just because he said it privately, He still said it in such an angry racist way and so of course it would still affect the company because of who he is

EXACTLY...

There's a difference between something being said in private and it remaining private.

It's absurd to think that people are going to magically be OK with what he said because "It was said in private".

It's disgusting that people are. And I'm not talking about anyone in this thread. It's gross how people are reacting on Twitter.

I'm glad this went public. If you're a hateful human being in private, but act like a morally upstanding character in public, you deserve to be found out. Fortunately in Hogan's case, he's been known to be a POS for years.

Even guys like Tito Ortiz are spouting BS defenses over him.

This is silly.

Hogan has come out and apologized for what he said. WWE saw/heard what he said and thought it was worthy of erasing him Benoit style. It's not like WWE is some overly PC organization that runs away from every little thing.

And people don't get to complain and whine about being called racist or homophobic when they're using racist and homophobic language. If you don't want people to think you're a bigot, then don't use bigoted and hateful language.
I don't use offensive language around people that would find it offensive, neither did Hogan. It's all about intent in my opinion. I've had black friends who I used to jokingly say racist things too and they would give it back to me, it was all in good fun.If you took that stuff out of context I would look like a horrible racist when I'm quite the opposite. Not defending Hogan I'm just saying we don't know the context of him using the n-word because that was a private discussion.

I think this country needs to grow thicker skin and not get offended over what other people say. Seems everyone has to be up each other's ass all the time now.

I won't defend what he said, but I'm still a fan. Is that wrong?

No, I am too. I don't think he is racist, he just said some really stupid stuff and unfortunately got tape recorded saying it.

Does anyone know for certain if Hogan's comments about The Rock are real or fake?

What did he say about the Rock? All I've seen was the comments about Brooke sleeping with the son of a black billionaire and how he'd rather her sleep with a rich basketball player.

More like a quilty pleasure, I was gutted when Warrior made homophobic remarks and I believe Bret Hart is a homophobe but I'm still a fan of both. I was always a Hulkamaniac and especially into Hollywood Hogan but was devastated whenever I'd hear about his ego .

Not sure about remaining a fan this time though

PLease man, do some research on this. This isn't the first time people have came out and said Hogan is a racist. A few wrestlers have been on the record saying this before and now there is actual proof.

I've heard it said about The Undertaker as well. Let's just hope we never get evidence to support it.

Which wrestlers?

As a latino, I would be crushed if Hogan,Taker or someone else I idolize are racist towards Mexicans

In other news, Bully Ray has quit TNA again, not long after he returns......

So will we be asking to "get the tables" in WWE anytime soon?

I'm not gonna touch that cause it's going to turn into a racial debate instead of a wrestling conversation.

Explain how someone like Dennis Rodman is defending him, saying he's known him for 25 years and that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body.

I know about pretty much every backstage story related to wrestling, never heard of anybody calling Hogan a racist. I've heard Ole Anderson and Flair are though.

I hope he and Devon gets to sign with 2K asap so they can be added to wwe2k16 as dlc, Having the Dudleys as playable characters would be pretty awesome

That would rock, Dudley's might be my favorite tag team ever.

It is possible for people to have racist attitudes and still have black friends they consider "one of the good ones".

Dennis Rodman defends him and so that clears Hogan as being a racist? Hogan may have never shown it towards him or most others but doesn't mean he secretly isin't

Here's the thing, I'm not defending Hulk Hogan, but people say a lot of crap. Sometimes people say stuff when they get mad they don't really mean, but in frustration it comes out cause they know it hurts. A person shouldn't be faulted for something they said 8 years ago. If your life was gone through with a fine tooth comb how many things could you be in trouble for saying or doing in your past? People blow this stuff up. People need to take a chill pill, people do make mistakes and we do need to forgive them, especially if they are deeply sorry. I mean it's not common for me but I hear stories all the time of loved ones who say stuff when they are mad and hurt you to your core cause they know how, but regret it later. Things just come out and hopefully we can learn a lesson from it in the future. I don't think he should be fired.

Plus doesn't WWE regularly embrace Ultimate Warrior and make money off his image and he pretty showed us with his own will he was a racist bigot?
