Where are they now?

Okay, so this might turn into a thread for people to find out where characters are in these confusing times, but first I'd like to ask where a couple of characters are.
Firstly, where's magneto? Ive heard that either he's been depowered since House of M, or he got blown up (again).
Also, where's Wanda? I'll probably remember once someone reminds me, but I cant recall what they did with her.

He got his powers back thanks to the Collective. He was supposedly killed when the chopper he was in exploded but nobody believes he died.

Wanda is back from the dead, amnesiac and living in Wundagore mountain. She says she lives with her aunt Agatha (who we haven't seen) and is getting the shaft from Hawkeye (if you know what I mean) after he went to find her to get revenge on her. You could look up New Avengers #26 for the info on Wanda, there's even a thread about it here.

The whole depowerment of SOOOOO many mutants kind of sucked LOL. I mean we lost alot of characters that I liked. Namely MArrow. I am a huge Marrow fan LOL.

Thanks for the info. Gawd, I wish they'd stop 'killing' Mags, because we aaall know he'll be back, so theres no point pretending he's gone forever.

Well, if they're going to do something like that, I prefer the "explosion with no body found" to "being decapitated right on the comics pages". I mean, the first one gives a future writer room to come up with some plausible explanation for Magneto's survival. While the second incident resulted in a complicated, fairly incoherent, & still unsatisfying explanation.

As you said, we know Marvel isn't going to leave Magneto dead. Personally, I think the bit in New Avengers was to get him "off-stage" for a while without leaving him in SHIELD custody. After all, if he were, the pro-regs would be using him in Civil War.

Yeah, that whole Xorn thing just got too silly for words after a while. I mean, it all started a while before that when wolverine stabbed magneto right through the chest, then he got killed by sentinals in genosha, then he returned and got decapitated, then he returned again. It's getting quite laughable now, they should think up some original story lines for the character, rather than 'oh, we'll just kill him again'.

Something I've wondered about is this: Wasn't that orphanage supposed to be in Central America? Where the dominant language is Spanish? So shouldn't those kids have named him Jose instead of Joseph?
