Which actors could you see as the next Bond?

The name's Bye.

Bye, Bye.

Insiders said Craig turned down a £68 million offer from MGM studio to return as Bond for two more films following last year’s hit Spectre. The sum included endorsements, profit shares, and a role for him working as a co-producer.

(A source) added: ‘He had told people after shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he could come around after Spectre if he was offered a money deal.’

One source said that executives had finally agreed to let the actor go after growing tired of his criticism of the franchise.

Idk it's gonna be anyone major. It's gonna be someone who hasn't been in a major well known movie. So no Hardy, Elba*, or Hiddleston

*I like Elba, but I dont think people really care about a black Bond. They only want to see Elba. Seriously, when talking about changing Bond's race Elba is the only one who comes up.

I love how even Birth.Movies.Death were calling out the Daily Mail :funny:

Craig has already done 4 Bond films with Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre it is about time Craig passed the torch to someone new...let's revitalize the franchise again with a newer actor in the role

I wouldn't wipe my ass with Daily Mail. The only thnig they're good for is Paparazzi shots.

I believe it. Craig was clearly fed up with the role during the press tour of Spectre. I mean he was openly saying he had a miserable experience during filming (I think he got injured, right?) Craig ain't not Robert Downey Junior but I'm sure he's financially healthy enough to walk away from $99 million.

Tabloids are claiming craig is done.

He had a decent run. After Spectre i don't want him back..and with him goes Waltz, as Waltz's return depends on Craig coming back.

I personally don't need the story continued. Just do a loose reboot as they've always done.

Yeah, I enjoyed Spectre but it felt like such a lazy Bond film, and the way they handled Blofeld was like a weird mashup of Khan Harrison (Star Trek Into Darkness), Dr. Evil (Austin Powers) and whatever Macauley Culkin's character was in The Good Son. It wasn't bad, but it really should have been better with all of the talent they had involved.

Anyway, if Craig is done, I'm fine with it; I liked him a lot and he's probably my favorite Bond, but I feel like the series needs a shakeup again.

Stevens would be good. Of the other names that are brought up a lot, I also like Cavill and Hiddleston.

If they go for a lesser known choice, I like Luke Roberts and Philip Winchester.

Cavill and Hiddleston are the unanimous choices as far as the next actor to replace Craig as Bond...I would go with Cavill because to me Hiddleston he looks too much like a Bond villain because to me whenever I look at him I can't help but see Loki all the time

I am pretty happy if Craig step down. I appreciate his Bond movies, but moment he was casted I couldnt wait for next Bond actor. And time is finally here.

If it's true Craig is done, then that's really disappointing. The Blofeld story doesn't feel resolved yet. I wanted to see Christoph Waltz have one more go at it.

I only agree with this following one more film for Craig to do where Swan is killed and he seeks revenge one last time. Almost a suicide mission that he knows he'll die in. Following this mission, Bond's survival is questioned leading to a follow-up with a new Bond. I know, it's a bit repetitive with Skyfall, but it seems like a natural way to end Craig's Bond instead of him simply just walking off into the sunset.

Tom Hiddleston is my choice at the moment.

I genuinely loved all 4 of his movies. It blows ass that he's gone, and personally I don't feel like the Blofeld / Bond story is resolved, but at least he's walking away when he doesn't really want to do it. if this is true. I'll wait for EON or MGM to release an official statement.

Why would you assume that they won't continue the story they've set up in Casino Royale-Spectre with a new actor even if Craig does leave?

Because Christoph Waltz said he would only come back if Craig does. I can't see them recasting both actors and continuing the story.
