Which actors could you see as the next Bond?

This sounds kind of strange, but I will repeat what I've said before: Cavill may be too good looking to be James Bond. Not to say any of the previous actors were hideous, but James strikes me as a guy who is kind of good looking, but not in a terribly remarkable way (which is good for a spy), but when he uses his charm and guile in concert with his appearance, he can make things happen.

Cavill is a freaking Adonis; the minute he walks into a room (I imagine) he's the kind of guy everybody just stares at, even if he's just there to empty the garbage.

I don't really see it being an issue. Brosnan was quite the heart-throb back in the day too. If anything, Bond uses his looks to charm the ladies, which is part and parcel of the whole 007 package.

Yeah. Plus, friggin' DWAYNE JOHNSON is playing a spy in an upcoming Robert Ludlum movie. If audiences can by HIM blending in with the crowd, I can't see Cavill having any problems.

NOTE: It doesn't mean that Bell has the job, but it does confirm that Craig probably has moved on and EON is looking for a new Bond.

Bell is too short to be Bond. But this story gaining traction means Craig is probably done. Carry on.

If Jamie Bell were older then he would have a shot as Bond and I would say Taron Egerton if he were older and if he were not in the Kingsman franchise then he would be perfect but then again that takes him out

If they go for someone with name recognition they will go with Fassbender, Hardy or Cavill as Bond

But if they go with someone lesser known in the role then James Norton would be the ideal Bond

I would have suggested Benedict Cumberbatch as Bond if he weren't Doctor Strange but then again when I see Benedict I see him more as a Bond villain than as Bond himself

Luke Evans now he is my pick for the next Bond...Luke Evans yes he is a big name but at the same time he isn't as well known as Fassbender or Hardy or Cavill but he's up there as far as recognition but at the same time Evans when you see him he just fits as Bond

Luke Evans is becoming that one guy that fanboys love that never gets cast in anything

Well whoever holds the rights to James Bond [Sony ?]
Luke Evans would be a serious consideration for me.
Hell Daniel Craig was not well known at all and hes made 4 films as Bond.

I think Ackles has been overtaken by Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender as the actors fancast for everything.

Yeah but at least Hardy and Fassy have actually been cast in roles that fanboys obsess over (Bane, Mad Max, Magneto, the Assassin).

Hardy and Fassbender are out as choices for me.
Not because I think they are bad, in fact both are skilled actors.
They have too much exposure for me.
Hardy is in Mad Max, etc.
Who knows if he could get involved in another franchise.
Same thing with Fassbender being in X-Men & Prometheus/Alien sequels.

Choosing words carefully, our source confirms that while talks have indeed taken place, and that Hiddleston very much wants the job (a fact of which he’s made no secret), no official offer has been made - yet.

HMM! Also it's been confirmed by their sources that Craig is very much out.

Hiddleston wouldnt be bad. I still was pulling for Dan Stevens or Luke Evans

Cant wait for the complaints over them casting a white guy as Bond.

If Luke Evans (who I adore) is cast, that won't be the nature of the complaints.

I still wish Evans would have been cast as Batman. He'd probably make a good Bond, but I think he'd make a GREAT Bruce Wayne. He just has a darker quality I don't see in many other actors in his age range.

I'm still skeptical of this. Where did Deadline get its source? It sounds like such a tabloid rumor.

And the Hiddleston thing... I don't buy it. Agents and managers do this all the time by throwing their clients names out there in the trades and slipping their names in rumors to keep their names current and in the discussion. Hiddleston will be one of MANY actors names thrown out there in the coming months.

Let's say Craig is out, which to me isn't a sure bet yet. This rumor is more or less a typical first rumors of a new Bond where someone like this is mentioned. Hiddleston is coming off The Night Manager's success and it's got momentum.

Hiddleston is the best candidate so far, imo. Really showed it in The Night Manager

Hearing Waltz isn't willing to come back unless Craig does too. Seems like a waste. Makes me wonder if the rest of the cast will go as well.
