Made this as a response to Tg11's Marvel version of this thread.

I dropped the part about "who DC should have recruited" part as I wouldn't want to create another thread about people who hate the current slate of DCCU actors or another "Grant Gustin should have been the movie Flash!" thread.

I'll start:

Nathan Fillion for an older Hal Jordan.

Only if he passes the torch/mantle over to John Stewart.

And in the same movie, in which case should be Taye Diggs.


Would love to see either Emma Watson or Grace Phipps in a movie as Raven.

Maybe Noah Wyle could play the universal Earth-based villain, Vandal Savage.

And his badass daughter Scandal Savage could be played by Katrina Law, or Karen Cliché.

If Ben Affleck were not playing Bruce Wayne/Batman then Ryan Gosling would be my pick for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman but as for another actor who I would love to see in the DC Comics Cinematic Universe definitely would be Channing Tatum as Billy Batson/Shazam he would be my pick

One actor I think WB or Marvel should look at is Matthew Rhys. He's the lead on The Americans and also was in this awesome film called The Scapegoat that I just watched the other day on Netflix. In it, he plays two different characters... it's a brilliant performance. He also obviously leads a double life on The Americans. I could see him in a superhero role, just not sure which one.

Agreed. If I'd know the parameters they were going with for BvS, I'd say he would have made a good choice there for an over 40 Batman.

Jim Caviezel, Garret Hedlund and Nathan Fillion could all play some parts in a DC film.
