Which actors should WB/DC recruit?

I wouldn't mind seeing Ken Watanabe play the real Ra's al Ghul.

Might be a long shot but I've always wanted to see Danielle Harris in a comic book film.

i already brought up Steve Buscemi, but i've been re-watching Boardwalk Empire and i think the majority of the cast from that show would be awesome additions to the DC Universe

Shea Wigham
Michael Pitt
Stephan Graham
Jack Huston
Michael Stuhlbarg

we already got Michael Shannon for Zod, now lets go for the rest :woot:

Andrea Riseborough as Artemis, Hawkgirl, or whoever... just cast her in something.

Colin Farrell or Christian Bale as John Constantine.

Colin Farrell is a solid actor, but he is too unstable a quantity. You can never tell if his performance will be amazing (Saving Mr. Banks, Fright Night), average (Total Recall) or miserable (Miami Vice, Daredevil, Alexander). WB/DC has enough obstacles without attempting to reassure audiences about potentially questionable casting choices.

Never saw Miami Vice but I actually loved Farrell in Daredevil. I've never read many DD comics so I can't say whether his performance as Bullseye was on the mark (no pun intended) or a travesty, but I still loved him in the role.

Anyway though, I don't think he's a fit for Constantine. Despite the flaws in the TV show, I don't think we'll ever find a better Constantine than Matt Ryan. I can only imagine how great he'd be in an R-rated Constantine film.

Definitely Michael jai white as the bronze tiger or black manta.

Id like to see keanu as well.

Guy Pearce as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Think his performance in Lockout)
Noomi Rapace as Zatanna

Green Lantern Corps;

Tom Hanks as Alan Scott
Tom Cruise as Hal Jordan
Aaron Paul as Guy Gardner
Andrew Garfield (Flipping Marvel the bird!) as Kyle Rayner
Wesley Snipes as Jon Stewart
Rachel Weisz as Carrol Ferris

Rann-Thanagar War

Gerard Butler - Hawkman
Jessica Chastain - Hawkgirl
Ethan Hawke - Adam Strange
Onimar Synn - Doug Jones or Andy Serkis

Clancy Brown

This so many times! He's done tons of voiceovers for animated stuff and has done live-action on TV recently (The Flash) but he hasn't done a live-action CBM yet, which is inconceivable!

I'll add (some of which I'm sure has already been mentioned):

Alexandra Daddario
Anna Kendrick
Emma Watson
Emily Blunt
Katia Winter (the wife/witch on Sleepy Hollow)

Benedict Cumberbatch! (edit: forgot he's Dr. Strange, well he could be in a DC movie too)
Chris Pine (for a quadfecta of superhero "Chris-es" after Hemsworth, Evans, and Pratt)
Tom Mison (the lead on Sleepy Hollow)

Karl Urban as Hawkman
Michelle Rodriguez as Hawkgirl

Michelle Rodriguez is not an option. She recently made a rather foolish comment about how people of color shouldn't take White superhero roles, so it is unlikely that she would take part in playing Hawkgirl. Karl Urban is pretty solid. He could be a decent Hawkman, but I personally see Gerard Butler in that role.

Allison Brie or Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Zatanna
Paul Dano (James Gordon Jr.)
Brit Marling (Maggie Sawyer)

That's a bit out of context. She clarified that race swapping is lazy and if they want to recruit ethnic actors, they should use them existing ethic characters or create original ethic characters.
