People keep saying "have sabretooth, deathstryke and omega red". Do you want this to be batman and robin from day one.

Firstly deathstryke was not a part of the weapon-x bit in the movies when wolverine was. My evidence. The fact that stryker says to wolverine that he though he was one of a kind. If deathstryke had been a weapon-xer when wolvie was then he would have never thought wolverine was one of a kind because from the first moment he had known of logan he would have known of deathstryke.

Secondly just the one bad guy please. Just sabretooth. Create the angry antagonist relationship beteween the two and have many cool fights between the two. Have it like the hunted with logan chasing creed across the country through cities, forests and snow swept mountains.
Your Deathstryke point is correct if the Wolverine film is a prequel. I'm not sure that this has been confirmed yet.

Sabretooth is definitely the number one villain and should get by far the most screentime. Any other villains could be introduced and should survive (take note X3 people) the film to be further developed in any sequel. The 'Logan chasing Creed' style scenario would be great to watch.

Deadpool would also be good to see at some point.

I'd prefer a new actor and HHH does look a bit like him but I don't know if he'll be able to act well enough.

The stuff I've seen him in I think he could do it, and Sabretooth the character isn't much different from the Triple HHH as the heel character.

I don't think they really require Alpha Flight to be in it, but if it starts with the Hudsons finding him in the wilderness and then dragging him off to some government facility I could see that. Almost like a flash back. Then have them come in as Wolverine is actually looking for answers, have him show up to talk with them. Wouldn't mind seeing a cameo by Puck either.

I say leave alpha flight till a sequel.

In said sequel have alpha flight attacks and detains wolverine. They apparantly have been on and off looking for him in canada and are angry that after years of working with them he disappeared with no notice. He of course doesn`t recognize them.

This can be used to drop the hint that perhaps there has been more recent tampering with wolvie`s memories. And that perhaps his claws were around before they got covered in adamantium.

Alpha Flight then decides to bring him in on a mission they have been given. To bring in a carnivorous beast whom the locals call wendigo.

Cool huh?

Sabretooth's best moments in the comics show his intensely psychotic but highly intelligent and complex side. He isn't just a big hard dumb scary guy although he was portrayed that way in X1. I think we need someone who can convince the audience of this side of his character and HHH might be great as a heel in the WWE but that doesn't mean he has what it takes to lead a film.

To be honest I've not seen HHH in anything apart from the Blade films and WWE so it's unfair to rule him out completely. What else has he been involved in?

For sure there's more to Sabretooth than just some claws and growling. I still think it's close to the HHH character that he has portrayed in recent years.

There was the blade movie and he's done a bunch of stuff on TV. A lot of comedies which he comes off as being really funny in, which is why I think he might have a bit more of the chops for acting than say Hogan or Stone Cold. There was something else I remember seeing him in, a more serious role, I just can't remember what it was. It was a TV thing though.

I think he really fits physically but I also think he might be able to pull of a Sabretooth. But you're right it's hard to say if he could carry a movie, a major role on his own.

I don`t see why they need a wrestler at all. Sabretooth was never that much bigger than wolverine. Just get a proper actor who is a little taller than wolverine and put some animal skins on him to make him look bulkier.

Sure he might look a fraction smaller but it has been six years since the general public has seen him they have prob forgotten what he looks like. And getting a proper actor means you are more likely to get the sinister aspect across.

I definitely want Sabretooth in the movie. They didn't do justice to the Logan/Creed rivalry in "X-Men", so now is their chance.

I would keep Tyler Mane in the role, for the sake of continuity. But I'm not going to sell Triple H short as an actor. I think he has shown promising acting potential. Perhaps he could be a candidate for Omega Red?

i'm guessing i'm gonna be alone on this one beacause he's an ultimate fighter and not an actor but, andrei arlovski.... for either sabretooth or omega red. he's 6'4" 240lbs. the perfect size for both those characters. he looks more like sabretooth and he's russian.

Ideally there is no need for a wrestler to take the role. All I want is a good actor who can be made up to convincingly look like Sabretooth. Obviously the more that the actor looks like Sabretooth to begin with (both wrestlers mentioned resemble him), the easier this is to achieve and the less money has to be wasted on needless effects.

I'm not going to rule out the two wrestlers altogether as I don't know how well they can act but playing the bad guy in wrestling and doing justice to a crucial character in a film is not similar (I'm a wrestling fan as well). If they can prove themselves at audition, fair play and I won't stand in their way.

I'm also not sure that the public will take the film seriously if a wrestler is cast in such a major role.

It seems like a number of people think that HHH has got strong acting potential. As long as this is true then I have no problem. I just don't want to be sold short on the acting stakes, especially for this character after the disastrous portrayal in X1.

Triple-H is probably one of,if the best, character-driven wrestlers. Could he bring that talent over into a film?Hard to say.

Would you be willing to risk it?

i'm pretty much expecting deathstrike, sabertooth and stryker at the minimum. if i remember correctly the first two at least have two movie contacts and i'm betting this will be that second movie. also isn't yuriko (deathstrike) wolverine's former love interest, or was that just in the cartoon?

That was just in the cartoon.

Let's say they make a Wolverine trilogy. I think that the first 2, if not all 3, films should be prequels.

Wolverine 1 - Weapon X=Wolverine (obviously), Sabretooth, Maverick, and Silver Fox (Wolverine's love interest). Stryker would also be in it. Maybe also in this one have Mystique/Raven as Sabretooth's love interest. Graydon had to be conceived at some point.

Wolverine 2 - Alpha Flight.

Wolverine 3 - Japan=Silver Samurai and Deathstrike.

Omega Red could fit in either 2 or 3. It doesn't matter, as long as he's in one of them. Probably a better fit in 2, considering 3 already has villains.

For those that want HHH as Sabretooth, how about Snitsky. Sure we don't really know if he could pull it off acting wise (which is hugely important), but he would look more the part. He's huge, tall, and menacing. Personally, I'd just keep Tyler Mane. As was said before, Sabretooth needs to be more savage and like he is in the comics and was in the cartoon.

That's what I'm saying Trips looks the part to me always has, and personally I think he has the potential to do well. If he gets a casting call and pulls off an audition I'm all for giving him a chance that's all, I wouldn't just hand the part to him.

Personally I think Chris Benoit looks the part of Wolverine (right build) But I wouldn't put him in the role cause I doubt he could act worth a damn.

please no "wrestlers" in this movie. I dun think sabetooth should be in this movie at all, in them ovieverse wolverine do not know who sabertooth is and vice versa. To just create a rivalry out of thin air is dumb. Besides most people think hes dead anyway, he took a direct shot from cyclops optic blast. Their is not "rivalry" in the movieverse between these two, its way to convoulted and should be left in the comics. Moive wolverines rival is cyclops anyway.
