Which characters should be included?

Vinnie...I thought he was great and hit the character nearly perfectly. I want to see the more saudistic side of Juggs though.

I know but we can dream. I think Juggs...or the movieverse one...is about one of the only people Wolverine would have a really tough time with. He didn't even get a hit on him in X3.

Yea, he didn't get a single hit on Juggs. He got his ass handed to him by Deathstrike too- he got 2 lucky hits (droppin her in the pool and stabbing her with the needle) when he was at the end of his rope.

I think they are trying to stay in the same world as the X men movies so i'm thinking omega red and sabretooth but a more savage and smarter one but the same actor.

In what way would you want Beast or Mystique to be involved?

beast being in the government doing stuff there, arguing with stryker. He'll not be blue and furry yet, and maybe meet logan at some point. He seemed to know all about him in x3. I know it can be thought that he just got the info from xavier or storm, but it could also be spun around that he just has logan's file or something like that too. Mystique I want to be fleshed out by having her have met logan at some point in the past. it'll just be a cameo as maybe some woman with a small devil-like child that logan meets and we'd get to see how fearful she is of nightcrawler being discovered by the police so she has logan take him to the munich circus or something like that where he'll be safe...

there are so many possibilities with characters like mystique. I liked how in the cartoon she's shown to have lived a long time as many different faces from one century to another. at least that's what i remember. Maybe they can give her something to do in this that'll give her more depth.

oh my stars and garters.

This is meant to be Wolverine's story,and none of the other characters from the previous films have much of a place.

A supporting character can easily be put into the mix or he could be alone. It could make the film all the more interesting. Not too many though. The less folks the better for attention to each.

I figured that if they're going to have anybody oppose Stryker's mutant experimentation, it ought to be beast. He clearly has a history with mutant/human relations within the gov. The thing is that he'll just be hank mcoy without the monkey suit on. i'm sure kelsey will like that.

Even though it's not her movie, i think it'd be interesting if we were thrown a mystique/nightcrawler bone in conjunction with showing logan being a good samaritan to some lady he meets after escaping weapon x. it'll be the beginning of his soft spot for kids that we see in x1 and x2. So well there's my thoughts... what more is there to say. I'd just like that if it happened.

I quite like your non furry Beast in the government ideas Wesyeed. But (as Abaddon says), as this is Wolverine's story the role if included should probably only be a cameo appearance.

They will go with Weapon X as the forefront of the plot line. Since he had his flasbacks in X2...it would make sense to go that route. But I would love to see Logan spending some time in Japan with Silver Samurai and maybe meeting Yuriko. But I go with my Weapon X story of how the US is experimenting with mutants just as Russia is during the Cold War. Hence a fight between Omega Red and Wolverine.

I want to see Deadpool as an assasin from Weapon X or somewhere else hired to take down Wolverine. I think that could fit into the storyline. Wolverine escapes and Stryker employs Deadpool to fix the problem.

uhm... But didn't Deadpool go all nutsy and escaped from the Weapon X project as well? And if I remember correct he hates the Weapon X project probably just as much as Wolverine does, if not more.

"My boy, I've been fighting for mutant rights since before you had claws."

This one line indicated he knows about Weapon X and that he probably knew Stryker. I don't know about anybody else, but I'd love to see Kelsey Grammar play Beast again...
