Well, since he's the new Batman the possibility of him directing a DC Comics film looks more promising, acting and directing different films at the same time may prove too much, so this role may limit his directing time.

Affleck has previously denied wanting to direct Justice League, but J.J.Abrams said the same thing about Star Wars, Bryan Singer said the same about X-Men and Michael Bay said the same about Transformers. So i guess his opinion may allways change, as did him saying he never wanted to be a superhero again after Daredevil.

As a director i think he could bring some pedigree to DC Comics films, the same way Nolan did, Zack Snyder is already into the Superman projects, but who knows what Affleck could do? Maybe Justice League? While he has never done something of that scale but if he could make it as good as his previosly directed films it would certainly rival The Avengers.

Or he could do something more into his alley, Batman, not only does he now star as the character, but he's more "grounded" and something i could easily see Affleck do. Spinning off World's Finest, Batman is still a property that brings a lot of money, so it's normal that WB would want to make another film, and with Snyder busy on Superman why not let Affleck do Direct his oun Batman film.

With his track record i think his most likelly villain would be Black Mask:

Which makes sence, since along with Mr.Freeze he's the villain fans want more fore the next film.

For some reason Swamp Thing jumped into my mind and I don't know why.

Given Affleck's style, I'd go with a Batman reboot as well. He can direct AND star in it, he usually gets good performances out of himself. Black Mask would be a cool villain, I'd like to see Hush myself, maybe a more serious version of the Riddler.

I think it's a forgone conclusion that he would direct a Batman solo flick if he directs any DC movie. Possibly Justice League, but my money's on that going to Snyder.

Save Swamp Thing for Guillermo del Toro.

Justice League is what Affleck SHOULD direct. Everything DC hinges on that film not sucking. Having Ben write/direct a bulk of it would ensure quality. Let Zack co-direct/produce. Then Ben could do the Batman reboot, if he wants to.

Or Zack could do the Batman reboot, while Ben does JL. Batman can survive (IF the director/writer screws up), but the DC universe cannot.

Though if I think if Zack did a JL movie, it would probably get around 60 percent fresh at RT, 70 something by audience ratings, and be controversial among comic fans. It would be the most visually striking, and I do think it would be a powerful movie with emotional scenes.

My money is on Justice League, which WB had already asked Affleck but he turned it down. Now that he is Batman and has a stake in the franchise, I can see him accepting the dual responsibilities of director and star. Snyder may not be happy, but I'm sure WB would let him direct MOS3 and maybe some other DCU movies.

Batman. Maybe a Justice League film if the villain was like Savage or Lex or Joker or Ra's or just someone small. Not someone like Grodd or Brainiac or Mongul or Darkseid.

Definitely Batman. He does well when he directs the movies that he stars in. I'd rather leave Justice League in the hands of Snyder and Goyer since they seem pretty invested in this process of bringing the DCU to the big screen.

I'd be interested in seeing Affleck direct JL for the simple reason that is would be such a different kind of project for him. I like seeing filmmakers stretch themselves.

I don't think Affleck should direct Justice League, I have a bad feeling that he'd make it mirror Iron Man 3.

Batman would be a great choice for him! He can do gritty movies like The Town, which'd fit for a Batman movie. He can get in shape like he did from The Town, plus he actually knows the source material. Th Dark Knight was an amazing movie but imagine a Batman movie which is unrealistic and is closer to the comics! Amazing, huh?

What exactly has Affleck EVER directed that would possibly make you think that he would mirror IM 3? That makes no sense whatsoever. IM 3 was Shane Black doing what Shane Black does, its HIS unique style.

Firstly, we don't know if he ca actually work with multiple cast members. Chances are, he'd make Batman a primary focus. He'd most likely make Batman a MAJOR character putting all the cast memebers to supporting characters. It'd just be a mess like what Iron Man 3 was. He would definitely do Batman not Justice League. Until he does a movie with an ensamble, then you can tell me if he can do Justice League. I'd prefer JL to be in the hands of Snyder, Dini and Goyers. Affleck can help with the story. Like Joss did with Thor: The Dark World.

You didn't answer my question. What has Affleck ever directed that makes you think that he would do any of this? Your making random assumptions with no evidence to back them up.

I don't think he should direct a Dark Knight Returns adaptation seeing that he is an older Batman as it is and that's the one story that would fit him the best. Plus, that is Snyder's baby and he'd probably do a decent job with that, you'd think... if anything, maybe Affleck could direct an ensemble Batman, to wipe the sting away from Batman and Robin. Overall, it's just too much to handle to both act and star in a franchise movie like Batman. The only other thing I can see is him directing and starring is maybe a Godfather II formatted Batman, where you go back and forth between a younger and older Bruce, which isn't really necessary for 99% of Batman stories. I think Green Arrow or Nightwing is what he should direct. Too soon for another Batman reboot/prequel.

He should obviously be doing the next Batman solo film. He's never handled a huge action film before but I think he could do JL well

You aren't worth my time.

EXACTLY! I think Batman would be perfect for him. Especially moves like the Town proves he can handle Batman.

I'm probably going to get **** for this but I might as well just say it. Wouldn't it be better if Ben Affleck worked on his directing instead of acting? That guy has the potential of being the next Steven Spielberg. I've now accepted him as Batman...but do you really see him staying in perfect shape for a 13-Picture-Deal? He'd be in his mid 50's when he's all done and possibly more. It's really risky. I would've loved seeing Armie Hammer or Joe Mangenellio in a Ben Afleck-directed Batman movie. Hopefully, WB gives him 7-picture-deal instead of a 13 picture deal

I really don't see Batfleck appearing in 13 films, I'd be tired of him probably by the 8th or something haha.

But yeah, the Town shows how well Fleck can do a gritty Batman.

I just hope that Ben consults with his buddy Kevin Smith a little bit before directing his Batfilm.

Wow Ben is probably going to be directing, starring in, and writing the new Bat films. What a responsibility.

I'd say 7, 6 after Batman Vs. Supeman. Three Justice League movies and a Batman trilogy. Affleck would probably hit the age of 47 if my calculations are correct. ;)

Frank Miller/Kevin Smith should consult with Ben Affleck for his Batman movie. They can be the producers or creative consultants like how Nolan was with Man of Steel.

I wouldn't say that Affleck should necessarily write it. Steven Zaillian and Frank Miller would be my two picks to do the Batman Reboot. Ben Affleck directing. I agree, it would be a bit weird at times he starts directing in the Batsuit. Again, I feel that he'd be much better directing Batman than playing Batman
