As a true Incredible Hulk fan (means i have read the comics) i totally dismiss the Chinaman's version( i did see it, and it was crap), but it is funny that since 08 version NEVER FIGHTS A TANK, then how in the hell would we know if he cant throw it. We i mean some of you need to move on, and forget the 03 version for good. The Incredible Hulk 08 is the only version there is.

Exactly, he didn't try to over power the dogs with strength. Just just needed to stop them, which I don't think is aggressive. Hulk '08 is proud of his power and likes to overcome enemies.

Agression and pride are not the same thing. Biting and punching things in the nuts seems pretty agressive to me.

I didn't lift 50 pounds today.
No one saw me lift 50 pounds today.
Conclusion: I can't lift 50 pounds.

Just because we didn't see the Hulk jump as far as the 2003 Hulk doesn't mean he can't.
And just because we didn't see the Hulk throw a tank doesn't mean he can't.

But, please, by all means...please...continue arguing.

Well put....

Sure. That's stating the obvious. We aren't discussing that. We are simply talking about the feats of strength in each and who ended up the most impressive.

Though the 08 version kicked the piss out of the 03 version, there were things in the 03 version I liked. But then it isn't funny to say

08 VERSION IS THE ONLY ONE THERE IS!!!!

he cant jump like in 03. why would you hop around like spiderman trying to avoid a helicopter if you could jump a couple miles a pop to avoid a helicopter

If I was a betting man, I'd venture to say the '03 Hulk would smash the ever loving piss out of the '08 Hulk. '08 Hulk struggled with 12 ft tall Abomination. Hulk at his most pissed off in '03 at 15ft tall and the ability to jump 2-3 miles at a time, slams the ground in San Francisco and doesn't make a crack in the pavement ... no ... he creates a small earthquake that sends cars toppling over one another.

The Hulk looking like Shrek references are older than my dead great grandmother's great grandmother.

That's a good point. But an even better one is the fact the HULK traveled from Brasil to Guatemala over night. Which is at the low around 2000 miles, and the high almost 3000 miles. And I doubt he did that jumping like Spider-Man.

Not to mention the fact the 08 version jumped farther in the campus scene then he did at the end. Showing he can in fact jump further.

Well, you see, it's kind of hard to get a running jump when there are cars, buildings, and lots of people in the way...

Chinaman...really?! Do we need to be derogatory in that fashion?

Hulk smashes racists, haters, and trolls!!!!!

You caught that :yay: .........yeah ^^^^^^^neat. click and save.

03 Hulk got hurt by a single tank blast and was knocked down and hurt a bit (and this was with at least one strength increase due to his rage back with the foam moments earlier).
08 Hulk took several similar blasts (especially on the campus) and at most flinched a little but didn't fall down. His 'strength' kept him up (yet this was his base strength as he hadn't had any 'madder means stronger' moments just yet whereas 03 Hulk from above did).

03 Hulk had trouble against the foam.
08 Hulk had trouble against the sonic canons.

03 Hulk had trouble destroying tanks (in fact, he never really destroyed any tank very badly except maybe, after a bit of struggling, tore off the top part of one).
08 Hulk was destroying vehicles and splitting them in half easily.

03 Hulk threw a tank after twirling it a bit (to get momentum for the throw).
08 Hulk threw a forklift like a 'golfball' (didn't need momentum).'

I believe 08 Hulk is stronger at base strength and his strength increases with his anger is as great or greater than 03's but since 08 has a stronger base strength, I believe this will keep him stronger than 03 Hulk.

While 03 Hulk could jump far, it's unclear if 08 Hulk can actually jump like 03 Hulk too. Plus, just because 03 Hulk could grow bigger, when we're talking about the 'Hulk,' size doesn't matter.
This is the most ridiculous thing I've read in this fun fantastical comparison. This kid believes its harder to throw a forklift than a tank. You know, cause forklifts are heavier than tanks and all.

03 version brought down a military chopper with his weight alone. While a chopper dragged around Abom and the HULK.

That too ... Hulk from '03 would pummel TIH and Abomination at the same time. He rips a giant pitbull apart with his barehands.

We already beat this one to death. Forklift is at most 10 tons. While the tank he threw is actually one of the biggest in the world weighing in at almost 70 tons.

He threw the forklift without any momentum.......and quite easily. Let 08 hulk swing a 70 ton tank around 3 times, and I bet it flies the same distance as 03.

03:bh:= 08:bh:

I'm going to go ahead and say that they are equal in strength.

Momentum makes no difference. 70 tons v.s. 10 tons. Hulk throws the gamma machine in Hulk w/o any momentum and that looked heavier than the fork lift.

I don't post here very often (mostly because I have so many accounts with so many different websites that I can't keep up with all the usernames and passwords ughh) Anyway I just got back on here and this conversation intrigued me. I did watch the 2003 HULK movie more than 4 times and I will say that the tank throwing feat was VERY strong....BUT I must also add that no one on here seems to be mentioning the 08 INCREDIBLE HULK throwing a boulder the size of himself at more than a 45 degree angle up into the sky...

Here are my comparisons for these two feats:

03 HULK
Army tanks weigh about 60 tons or 120,000lbs (if it's an abrams main battle tank) which is on the larger side of us army tanks. size is 30' x 12' x 7.5' (though this is hollow for the most part inside)

He didn't actually pick up the tank, like reaching down and picking up a barbell by grabbing the sides or bottom. Instead he grabbed the turret (barrel) and leaned and used momentum and inertia to spin the tank around himself (like a hammer throw).

After about 3-4 spins he let loose and the tank looked like it travelled(realistically here) about .5 to .75 mi away...just over the ridge behind him. If you think it was farther than that, seriously go out on a highway stand at a mile marker and look how far the next one is down the road(if you can even see it).

08 INCREDIBLE HULK
The SOLID ROCK/BOULDER that he basically grabbed off the face of the mountain in 08 TIH was about the size of himself, so I'll say the diameter of the boulder was about 8.5ft. That's 321.5 cu.ft of solid mass(volume of sphere is 3/4 x pi(3.14) x 76.77(which is the radius (4.25ft) to the third power) .

Steel is generally regarded at a weight of 500lbs per cubic foot. With a volume of 321.5 cu.ft., if this rock were solid steel it would weigh 160,500lbs. Given that this rock, depending on the elements involved ie granite, micah etc...might not be completely solid I will deduct my calculation by 20%(32,100lbs) so now the rock weighs approx 128,400lbs.

If you watch the scene in TIH he is uber pissed at the storm, grabs this huge boulder, lifts it like it weighs 20lbs to the normal man and throws it into the sky, I would say at least 50+ mph against gravity.

I am not saying that either Hulk or The Incredible Hulk is stronger than the other, but look at some hard evidence and facts of mass, and volume of different objects and how he lifts and throws or slams or tears apart those objects and you get an idea of which one has the higher strength(and higher rage). IMHO, they should both be the same strength because they are both HULK.

Here is also a link referencing the force it would take to rip a car frame in half(which the hulk does in TIH) HULK RIPS CAR IN HALF! 11 million lbs of force per square meter??!! Hulk STRONGEST ONE THERE IS! :bh:

Wow am I glad you showed up......that's what I have been thinking this whole time. I just don't have the brain power to calculate and come up with actual evidence with numbers like you did.

Here's a question...have you ever lifted something off the ground vs swinging something?....major difference there my friend.

As for the forklift vs gamma machine.....I don't have a clue. We could look up the weight of a forklift, but not a gamma machine, haha.

EDIT: Ooh...reference CainMarko's calculation's for some serious validity. :woot:

CainMarko great analysis....I couldn't have done better if I had one of my old College math or physic books in front of me....then again I got As [basking in glory].

Great Job homes!!!
