Well, at least I hope it saved the franchise. Ang's Hulk was panned by critics and the GA alike. TiH was accepted better. So if there is a sequel, it will be a sequel to TiH.

 Ang's movie got a 62% fresh rating from the critics on Rottentomatoes, hardly a panning, not to mention it had just as good if not better DVD sales.

The amount of detail they put in hulk's skin was overdone in TIH so it looked fake. The lighting and colour of the Hulk in Ang Lee's made that one look fake. They need a nice balance.

The green of Ang's Hulk looked overtly saturated, so yeah he did look 'too green' IMO.

I gotta go with Louis' Hulk.

Ang's Hulk looked like Eric Bana...but Louis' Hulk looked like the Incredible Hulk out of the pages of Marvel Comics...Louis' Hulk looked like John Romita Sr. designed him.

the 2003 Hulk or Lee's Hulk looks like Shrek with hair & his shirt off.

I just dont get the Shrek comparisons, never have, never will.

I'm still on the fence a bit on this, 2008 had the better design, but 2003 moved and looked more real at times IMO.

Okay check this out what if it where the Ang Lee design with the Louis' Detail,Color and Lighting?

I'd rather see the Ang body (including color) with the LL face and clothing (not including color - those jeans should be purple!).

For me, Lee's Hulk's appearance is superior.

I thought the '08 Hulk had better proportions, skin color, and a better face. '03 Hulk looked too damn soft to me, like a marshmellow.

yeah, he kinda looked squishy whereas the 08 version looked like it would be rock hard. the hell am i saying.

I agree, it looked as if the '03 Hulk was just flabby, whereas the '08 Hulk was completely 100% muscle.

I don't think he was flabby (far from it IMHO); but it was the skin texture combined with the bright green color. Or something like that. It gave an artificial appearance of "flabbiness".

I liked the O3 Hulk's proportions, but the 08 Hulk's color and detailing.

After showing some clips to my brother over the weekend, he wants to see the whole movie now. He and my dad thought that the Hulk in TIH was very well done and looked real.
